- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 新鮮凍結血漿を処理するためのシステムであって、 解凍のために新鮮凍結血漿を保持するのに適合させた源容器と、 凍結された血漿を該源容器から移送するために該源容器に結合するのに適合 させたチューブと、 該源容器から移送される解凍された血漿から白血球を分離するための、該チ ューブ内にあるフィルターと を含むシステム。 2. 該フィルターが、解凍された血漿から白血球より大きな凝集物をも除去す るプレフィルター層を含むものである、請求項1のシステム。 3. 該プレフィルター層がガラス繊維を含むものである、請求項1のシステム 。 4. 該フィルターが、該プレフィルターの下流方向に、解凍された血漿から白 血球を排除により除去するように寸法を与えられた孔を有する材料を含むもので ある、請求項2のシステム。 5. 該材料がポリエーテルスルホンを含むものである、請求項4のシステム。 6. 該フィルターが、該プレフィルターの下流方向に、解凍された血漿から排 除により白血球を除去するようサイズを与えられた孔を有する材料よりなる第1 及び第2の層を含み、該第1の層が該プレフィルター層と該第2の層との間に位 置し、該第1の層の該孔が該第2の層の孔より大きいものである、請求項2のシ ステム。 7. 該第1の層の孔が約1.2 μmのサイズであり該第2の層の孔が約0.8 μm のサイズである、請求項6のシステム。 8. 該フィルターが、解凍された血漿から排除により白血球を除去するように サイズを与えられた孔を有する材料を含み、該材料の該孔が、該フィルターを通 る血漿の流れ方向に縮小しているものである、請求項1のシステム。 9. 該材料がポリエーテルスルホンを含むものである、請求項8のシステム。 10. 解凍された血漿を該フィルター通過の後に受け取るために該チューブに 結合させた移し替え容器を更に含むものである、請求項1のシステム。 11. 血漿を処理するためのシステムであって、 血漿を保持する源容器と、 該源容器から血漿を移送するために該源容器に結合するのに適合させたチュ ーブと、 該源容器から移送される血漿から白血球を分離するための、該チューブ中の フィルターと、そして 該血漿に光活性物質を添加するための手段と、 を含むシステム。 12. 血漿を処理するためのシステムであって、 血漿を保持する源容器と、 移し替え容器と、 該源容器から該移し替え容器へと血漿を移送するために該源容器及び該移し 替え容器に結合するのに適合させたチューブと、 該源容器から移送される血漿から白血球を分離するための、該 チューブ中のフィルターと、そして 該源容器と該移し替え容器のうちの一方の血漿に光活性物質を添加するため の手段と、 を含むシステム。 13. 血漿を処理するためのシステムであって、 移し替え容器と、 該移し替え容器中の光活性物質と、 該移し替え容器に結合させたチューブであって、該光活性物質との混合のた めに源容器から移し替え容器内へと血漿を移送するために血漿の源容器に結合す るのに適合させたものであるチューブと、そして 該移し替え容器内へと移送される血漿から白血球を分離するための、該チュ ーブ中のフィルターと、 を含むシステム。 14. 該フィルターが、白血球より大きい凝集物をも血漿から除去するプレフ ィルター層を含む、請求項11又は12又は13のシステム。 15. 該プレフィルター層がガラス繊維を含むものである、請求項11又は1 2又は13のシステム。 16. 該フィルターが、該プレフィルターの下流方向に、血漿から排除により 白血球を除去するようサイズを与えられた孔を有する材料を含むものである、請 求項15のシステム。 17. 該材料がポリエーテルスルホンを含むものである、請求項16のシステ ム。 18. 該フィルターが、該プレフィルターの下流に、血漿から排 除により白血球を除去するようサイズを与えられた孔を有する材料よりなる第1 及び第2の層を有し、該第1の層が該プレフィルターと該第2の層との間に位置 しており、該第1の層の孔が該第2の層の孔より大きいものである、請求項15 のシステム。 19. 該第1の層の孔が約1.2 μmのサイズでありそして該第2の層の孔が約 0.8 μmのサイズである、請求項18のシステム。 20. 該フィルターが血漿から排除により白血球を除去するようサイズを与え られた孔を有する材料を含み、該材料の該孔が、該フィルターを通る血漿の流れ 方向に縮小しているものである、請求項11又は12又は13のシステム。 21. 該材料がポリエーテルスルホンを含むものである、請求項20のシステ ム。 22. 該光活性物質がメチレンブルーである、請求項11又は12又は13の システム。 23. 該光活性物質を活性化させるために血漿内へ選ばれた波長の放射を発す る光源を更に含む、請求項11又は12又は13のシステム。 24. 汚染因子及び汚染因子を取り込むことのできる白血球を含有する血漿を 処理するための方法であって、 濾過により血漿から白血球を分離しそれによって白血球内に取り込まれた汚 染因子を除去するステップと、そして 該血漿に光活性物質を添加するステップと、 該光活性物質を活性化させてそれにより白血球に取り込まれていない遊離の 汚染因子を根絶させるために、選ばれた波長の放射を該血漿中へと発するステッ プと を含む方法。 25. 新鮮凍結血漿を処理するための方法であって、 容器中の新鮮凍結血漿を解凍するステップと、 解凍した血漿を該容器から移送するステップと、そして 該容器から移送される解凍した血漿から白血球を濾過するステップと を含む方法。 26. 該解凍した血漿に光活性物質を添加するステップと、そして 該光活性物質を活性化させるために、選ばれた波長の放射を該解凍された血 漿中へと発するステップと を更に含む、請求項24の方法。
