Telephone with speed dial
The present invention relates to telephones used by children.
Phone has speed dialing (speed dial) memory
Is known. To dial a phone number stored in the phone's memory,
The user must press a special button associated with the memory. Telephone
Also has a special button to dial one of the phone numbers from one of the memories
And one or more of the number buttons
Are known. The combination of these conditions embedded in the same telephone is also known.
Have been.
Children can generally only dial a limited number of phone numbers
It is considered good. Therefore, use phone numbers associated with memory
Is a suitable means for this purpose. However, using multiple buttons in combination
It can be awkward, especially for young children. Special button for memory
Buttons that should be used for children who cannot read even if there are
It is difficult to find out. The large number of buttons on the phone also creates confusion
May be.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,866,764 dials a telephone number from a telephone memory
Some special buttons include photos or other drawings that indicate the nature of the telephone number to be dialed.
In the sense that is provided, gives a solution. But used by young children
Normal numeric buttons that are generally unnecessary to
There is a high risk of making mistakes.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,567,326 states that telephone buttons are limited to numeric buttons
And speed dials nevertheless
Suggest possible solutions. However, one phone from one memory
To dial a number, the user must press a complex combination of buttons.
No.
It is an object of the present invention for children to dial a telephone number stored in the memory of a telephone.
To provide a manageable solution for The invention according to claim 1
The description relates to a telephone with twelve telephone buttons and a memory for storing telephone numbers.
After the handset is lifted from the hook, the twelve telephone buttons are stored in memory.
Used to dial one telephone number associated with each button
Phone is designed to allow
After the handset is lifted from the hook and the switch button is pressed
, Dial a phone number whose phone button is not stored in one of the memories
It is characterized by being used in a usual manner.
The telephone is for example constructed in a manner as detailed in US Pat. No. 4,866,764.
, Photos or drawings are provided on the buttons. From memory
To dial the telephone number, the user lifts the handset from the telephone and presses the button
You need to press one of Call from memory bound to buttons instead of numbers
The number is dialed directly.
Switching with the toggle button is maintained until the handset is placed back on the telephone.
It is. The next time lifting from the hook occurs, the button will be
It is.
In order not to increase the number of buttons on the telephone more than necessary,
May be one of the twelve buttons. In this case, of course, the button
Cannot be combined with one of the Preferably, the number button 0 switches this solution.
Used for functions.
Memory is usually done on existing phones with memory, for example
As such, it is programmed in various ways. Therefore, the memory is programmed
There is a special programming button to indicate that the So
, One of the memory buttons and a number button for the stored phone number
, You need to press the programming button again.
However, other methods are available that do not extend the number of buttons to programming buttons
Noh. For example, programming is done with the handset on the phone
. The user, in turn, switches to one of the number / memory buttons and stores it in memory
Press the number button for the phone number, and finally press the # button.
Other ways in which additional buttons are unnecessary are as follows. The user can select the switching button
Press the button and hold it down while the handset is lifted from the hook.
Then one of the number / memory buttons and the phone number stored in memory
Is pressed, and finally the handset is placed back on the telephone.
To prevent unwanted programming of the phone by children
For this purpose, the telephone may be provided with a key switch having a detachable key. Professional
In addition to the gramming being prevented by the keyswitch, other restrictions
May be set or canceled by the switch. In this connection, speed dialing and
Turning off the function for switching between the usual numeric dial, the preset period
Limits the number of outgoing calls during a period, for example, 24 hours,
May be limited.
Phones give audio feedback when buttons are pressed
This can make them more attractive to children. This means
To combine the speech pieces stored in the audio memory with each number, * and #
Therefore, it can be performed. The sound piece may be a number uttered by a human voice,
G
The tone is generated by an instrument or a synthesizer. In the latter case, each number, *
And # have their own pitch, and when the tones are played in any order,
Various pitches are chosen so as to discard anything that sounds unpleasant to the ears.
A series of speech pieces dial the phone number from memory and at the same time through the speaker
Will be played. A sound piece may also be given to the switching button. One switching button
When activated, and the button functions as a number button, when the phone number is pressed,
The sound piece associated with each numeric button is played.
A variation on the same principle is that a speech piece is connected to each button and the button is shortened.
When played as an ear button, it will be played when the button is pressed
. When the toggle button is activated and the button functions as a number button, another series
Can be combined with the button.
Furthermore, if, for example, an incoming call, the sound piece of a famous pop group
If played instead, the phone would be more attractive to children.
Outgoing call with audio feedback of dialed phone number and other speech pieces
No. 940139 to replace the sound piece for both
The method described in No. 4 can be used.
The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, which show a block diagram of the invention in a single drawing.
Will be described.
In the drawing, the telephone comprises a transmitting circuit 1, a microprocessor circuit 2, a key,
Board 3, switching button 4, key switch 5, audio memory 6,
And a speaker 7.
Connected to the transmission circuit 1 are a telephone line 8 and a telephone receiver 9. Microphone
The processor circuit 2 includes a DTMF transmitter, a program memory, and especially a shortened die.
To store phone numbers for dial
Data memory is incorporated.
The following signal connection lines are provided between the transmission circuit 1 and the microprocessor 2.
. That is, the RING 10 coming from the bell signal detector incorporated in the telephone transmission circuit 1
The telephone line 8 is transmitted through the telephone transmission circuit 1 with a signal coming from the microprocessor circuit 1.
SEISE11 used to capture and control pulse dialing signals and telephone lines
DTMF12 for controlling the tone dial signal to 8 and Dutch patent application
For receiving the synchronization signal of the sound database, as described in detail in 9401398.
SYNC 13 for microprocessor and clay for microprocessor circuit 2
This is a connection line to the HOOK 14 for transmitting the state of the dollar switch.
The microprocessor circuit 2 further includes a keyboard including 12 telephone buttons.
A key 3, a changeover switch 4, and a key switch 5 are connected. Microp
The processor circuit plays back via control bus 16 to play or record the sound piece.
Dio memory can be controlled.
The connection line AUDIO 15 between the transmission circuit 1 and the audio memory 6 is
A sound signal from the telephone line 8 when a piece has to be recorded from the sound database
To the audio memory 6. The sound piece is stored in the audio memory
Playback is performed via a speaker 7 connected to the memory 6.
One of 12 phone buttons toggles between speed dial and regular numeric dial
If it is used for this purpose, the separate switching button 4 can be omitted.
If no restrictive condition is required for the telephone, the key switch 5 can be omitted.
If the speech unit does not need to be re-recorded from the sound database via the telephone line 8, S
YNC signal connection line 13 and AUDIO signal connection line 1
5 can be omitted.
When a number, * or # is selected, or when switch button 4 is pressed
, Or if the speech piece does not need to be played to carry the incoming call,
The digital memory 6, the speaker 7, and the control bus 16 can be omitted.
From the block diagram shown and the above description of the functions, the electronic and telephone fields
The operation of the telephone will be immediately understood by those skilled in the art.
