2. Description of the Related Art As one of air purifiers for removing smoke and offensive odor from tobacco generated in offices, restaurants, amusement facilities, etc., an apparatus using an electric dust collector is disclosed, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Registration No. 3033859. This configuration is characterized in that the number of discharges per unit area is large and the purification efficiency is excellent. On the other hand, in the above configuration, as shown in FIG. 6 of the official gazette, the needle electrode is formed by bending bent electrode plate members 30 and 31 integrally with the connection support member 19 obtained by bending a stainless steel plate. A pin member serving as a discharge electrode is fitted into the pin mounting holes ha and hb of the bent electrode plate member using a hammer such as an air hammer. In this case, if a large number of the needle electrodes are provided, the support member is formed of stainless steel, so that the total weight increases, and the dust collection unit is attached to and detached from the air purifier body when the dust collection unit is washed. In this case, there is a problem that labor is required for the work.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described first with reference to FIG. 1. Reference numeral 1 denotes an air purifier mounted on, for example, a ceiling 2 of a house. An intake hole 4 is opened, and a mesh-shaped cover 5 is detachably mounted on a sheet metal in the intake hole, and outlets 6, 6 are opened near the bottom surface on both left and right side surfaces. Are fitted with wire meshes 7 and 7 for grilling, and deodorizing filters 8 and 8 made of activated carbon fiber or the like are fitted inside the wire meshes. A dust collecting unit 9 of an electric dust collecting type is built in the upper part of the intake hole 4 at the center of the inside of the outer case 3, and the intake hole 4 and the outlet 6 are provided between the dust collecting unit and the outer case 3. , 6 which communicates with
0, and cross-flow type blower fans 11, 11 are mounted on both sides of the dust collection unit 9 in the ventilation path, and by operating the blower fan, indoor air is collected from the intake hole 4. After being sucked and passed through the unit 9, the air is circulated through the ventilation passage 10, from the outlets 6, 6 through the deodorizing filters 8, 8 and into the room. On the other hand, the dust collecting unit 9 is provided with a plurality of needle electrodes 12 arranged in a matrix as shown also in FIG. It is composed. And the needle electrode 12
As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, a discharge section 15 in which a stainless steel plate is formed in a belt shape and discharge electrodes 14 are integrally formed at the tip thereof, and a support section 16 for supporting the discharge section And a pair of supports 17 formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy for sandwiching and fixing the discharge sections 15... Between the support sections and the discharge sections 15. And rivets 18 made of aluminum or the like which are connected to each other. Therefore, when assembling the needle electrodes 12, first, the discharge portions 15 are formed by pressing a stainless steel plate or the like, and a pair of left and right supports 17 are formed by pressing an aluminum plate or the like. After that, if the discharge portions 15 are sandwiched between these supports and connected and fixed by the rivets 18, the assembly can be performed relatively easily. In the above embodiment, the counter electrodes 13 are square, and the distances between a pair of opposing sides are substantially equal.
Although the discharge electrodes 14 are arranged at points, as shown in FIGS.
Are square, and a pair of discharge portions 19,..., 20 are arranged at the tips of a pair of discharge portions 19,. May be formed integrally with each other, and aluminum rivets 18 are used. However, iron rivets may be used. In the case of aluminum, weight reduction is achieved. It can be measured. When the air purifier 1 is operated, the indoor air passes through the cover 5 by rotating the blower fans 11 and applying a predetermined high voltage to the needle electrodes 12 of the dust collecting unit 9. After being sucked through the suction hole 4, the needle electrode 12 of the dust collection unit 9
After passing through the space between the counter electrodes 13 and 13, the air is purified, and then, after passing through the ventilation passage 10, is discharged again into the room through the air outlets 6, 6 via the deodorizing filters 8, 8.

According to the structure of the present invention, the weight of the needle electrode can be reduced by forming the support portion of the needle electrode with aluminum or an aluminum alloy. It is possible to improve the workability in the case where cleaning is performed by desorption.
In addition, according to the configuration of the present invention, the discharge portion of the needle electrode is formed by forming a discharge electrode on the tip of a stainless steel plate by pressing or the like, so that the discharge electrode can be processed using a general-purpose mold, and can be manufactured. The cost can be reduced.
