ードル電極を多数設けると、その支持部材をステンレス
で形成している為に、その総重量が重くなり、集塵ユニ
ットの洗浄時等、集塵ユニットを空気清浄機本体より着
脱する場合、その作業に労力を要するという問題があ
る。そこで出願人は、特願平10−162135号にて
ニードル電極の支持部をアルミ金属で構成することで、
集塵ユニットの軽量化を計る事を提案したが、その実施
例では、支持体17・・の下端部を折曲げている為、集
塵ユニットを誤って落下させた場合等にその折曲部分に
亀裂等が発生し、破損する恐れがある。又本出願人は、
特願平10−162134号にて、ニードル電極に複数
個の放電極を形成して集塵効率の向上を計ったものを提
案したが、これらは何れも対向電極の平面部に対向して
放電極を位置している為、対向電極の電極面積に対し、
イオン化面積が狭いという問題がある。

を介して室内に循環する様に構成している。一方上記集
塵ユニット9は、図2にても示す様にマトリクス状に配
置した多数のニードル電極12・・間にステンレス板等
にて形成した格子状の対向電極13・・を挿入装着して
組合せた電極を、枠状のフレーム14内に収納して構成
している。そして上記ニードル電極12・・は、図3に
て示す様に、ステンレスやリン青銅、鉄、タングステン
等の導電性金属板を帯状に成形し、その先端に例えば一
対の放電極15、15を一体形成した一対を一組とする
放電部16・・と、この放電部を支持する一対の支持体
17’、17’を一組とする支持部17・・とから構成
し、上記支持体17’、17’は、各々の下端に一体形
成した連結部18・・にて一列に連結している。又、上
記支持体17’、17’はアルミニウムやアルミニウム
合金で形成し、かつこれらの支持体はアルミニウム製等

方、図4において21・・は上記複数組の支持部17・
・を連結固定する断面逆U字状の支持金具で、図5にて
も示す様に予め設定した所定間隔を置いてスリット状の
複数の係入溝22・・を穿孔している。23・・は上記
支持部17・・の支持金具21・・からの脱落を防止す
るストッパーピンで、上記支持部17・・の下端を上記
支持金具21・・の係入溝22・・内に挿入後、支持部
17・・の支持金具21・・の溝24・・内に位置する

電面積の増加による集塵効率の向上を計る事が出来るも
