Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple and inexpensive safety cooler for pet requiring no electricity and subjected to no restriction on use by fixing a water reservoir to a metallic roof, applying a water absorbing evaporator onto the root and pouring water into the water reservoir such that the evaporator is immersed partially into the water. SOLUTION: A water reservoir 2 is fixed to a metallic roof 1 and a water absorbing evaporator 3 is applied onto the roof 1 such that the evaporator enters partially into the water reservoir. At the time of use, water is poured into the water reservoir 2 and a pet is placed on the inside of the roof 1. Water is sucked by the water absorbing evaporator 3 through capillarity and heat of vaporization is robbed when the water evaporates from evaporator. Consequently, temperature on the inside of the roof 1 drops to provide the pet with coolness.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there is an electronic pet cooling / heating apparatus using a Peltier element, but it is expensive due to its complicated structure, requires electricity, and requires an electricity bill. There was a disadvantage of being restricted. In the case of pets kept indoors, there is also a method of operating the cooler installed in the room, but it is necessary to keep the cooler operating all the time, including when leaving only the pet and going out. There was a disadvantage that it had to be done.

In the case of the method described above, the equipment becomes complicated and expensive, and it is necessary to keep the electric equipment operating even when the user is absent, which is dangerous. It is uneconomical because it is bulky. The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a simple and inexpensive pet cooler that does not require electricity, is safe and is not subject to restrictions on use.

In order to solve the above problems, a pet cooler according to the present invention has a water reservoir (2) attached to a metal roof (1) and a water reservoir (2) on the metal roof (1). A water-absorbent evaporator (3), and a part of the evaporator (3) is put into the sump, and water is poured into the sump. When the water evaporates from the evaporator, it takes away the heat of vaporization, thereby lowering the temperature inside the metal roof (1). Further, by providing the metal bottom plate (4), the temperature of the bottom plate (4) is also reduced by heat conduction, and the function as a pet cooler is improved. The shape of the metal roof (1) may be quadrangular or triangular, or may be of various other shapes. As the evaporator (3), a water-absorbing cloth can be used, but any material can be used as long as the material absorbs water by capillary action and the water evaporates. Tap water may be used for the sump, but even if water is mixed with other substances or a liquid other than water, it is sucked up by the evaporator and evaporates from the evaporator to remove heat of vaporization. Any liquid having properties can be used. Further, the entirety of the pet cooler can be covered with a structure having good air permeability.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below. Attach the sump (2) to the metal roof (1),
The water-absorbing evaporator (3) is hung on the roof (1) so that a part of the evaporator (3) enters the water reservoir. The present invention has the above configuration. When using the present invention, water is poured into the sump (2) so that pets can enter inside the roof (1). For this reason, water is sucked up by the water absorbing evaporator (3) by capillary action, and when the water evaporates from the evaporator, heat of vaporization is deprived. Therefore, the roof (1) passes through the metal roof (1). The inside temperature drops and the pets inside the roof (1) can receive the coolness.

According to the present invention, the pet cooler can be operated only by replenishing the water occasionally, so that the maintenance is simple, and since no electricity is required, no electricity bill is required and the installation is safe. There are no restrictions on location. Since the structure is simple, failure is unlikely to occur, and it can be manufactured at low cost. Because of its simple structure, it can be washed directly with water when it gets dirty, so it is clean and easy to maintain. In addition, the temperature inside the pet cooler does not drop significantly as compared with the air temperature, which is good for the pet's health.
