Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower weight capable of installing a large capacity lower weight installed on the lower frame of a crawler crane without using any auxiliary crane with divided foldable structure and also securing a space in front of a crane which is necessary for lifting operation and base system attachment operation with short jib structure. SOLUTION: The lower weight 1 of a crawler crane comprises a lower weight 1A installed through a pin 3 on a crane main body and a lower weight 1B connected foldably to the lower weight 1A through a pin 2. Also a lifting lug 7 capable of fixing to a shackle 6 which is provided at the lower end of a wire rope 4 capable of connecting to a main jib is provided on the upper surface of the lower weight 1A installed on the crawler crane main body side. In addition, lifting lugs 8 and 9 are provided on the upper and lower end surfaces of the other lower weight 1B which is fixed to the pin 2 foldably to the lower weight 1A installed on the main body side.

【従来の技術】クロ−ラクレ−ンに於いてロワ−フレ−

問題がある。 (1)ロワ−ウエイトが機械の前後方向に長い場合に
は、図9のようにロワ−ウエイトaを吊るための吊りラ
グbの位置がロワ−ウエイトaを装着する時に、機械本
体から離れているので、クレ−ン主ジブcとロワ−ウエ
イトaとをワイヤロ−プdで接続することによりロワ−
ウエイトaを自力で脱着することはできる(図9)。し
かしクレ−ン前方の作業空間を確保することが出来な
い。 (2)又機械の前後方向に短いロワ−ウエイトの場合に
は、ロワ−ウエイトaを吊るための吊りラグbの位置が
ロワ−ウエイトaの装着時に機械本体に接近する。この
為、上に述べた自力での脱着がストロ−ク不足により出
来ない。従ってロワ−ウエイトaの装着に補助クレ−ン
が必要となる(図10)。

ワイヤロ−プ4でクレ−ン主ジブと接続してピン3を抜
き取った後、主ジブの起伏操作を行いロワ−ウエイトを
取り外す(図8)。
