に開閉可能な遮蔽蓋を有し且つ内部に廃棄物収納体を内
装し得る遮蔽容器と、該遮蔽容器を搭載して搬送通路を
走行し得る搬送台車とを備えた放射性廃棄物搬送設備に
おいて、搬送台車の走行に伴って遮蔽容器の上端部が通
過し得る開口を搬送通路他端寄り部分に有し且つ遮蔽容
器が第1の搬出入口の直下へ移動した際に遮蔽容器の上
端寄り部分を搬送通路一端側及び搬送通路両側方の三方
から覆い得る第1の固定遮蔽体を、搬送通路の一端天井
部分に設け、搬送台車の走行に伴って遮蔽容器の上端部
が通過し得る開口を搬送通路一端寄り部分に有し且つ遮
蔽容器が第2の搬出入口の直下に移動した際に遮蔽容器
の上端寄り部分を搬送通路他端側及び搬送通路両側方の
三方から覆い得る第2の固定遮蔽体を、搬送通路の他端
天井部分に設け、第1の固定遮蔽体の開口を搬送通路他
端側から閉止し得られ且つ第2の固定遮蔽体の開口を搬
送通路一端側から閉止し得る移動遮蔽体を、遮蔽容器の
上部に搬送台車走行方向へ移動可能に設けたことを特徴
とする放射性廃棄物搬送設備。
