Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut out protectors at a higher yield from a material while lowering the hitting sound level by forming the protector for preventing production of hitting sound when a cable hits a car body such that the protector has a square cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the cable. SOLUTION: The protector 5 has a square cross-section perpendicular to the axis of a cable. The sound level is 56.9 dB when the protector 5 having a square cross-section abuts, on the side face thereof, against a floor panel 2 and the sound level is 54.1 dB when the protector 5 abuts, at the corner part thereof, against the floor panel 2.
