2. Description of the Related Art In general, paper consumption is also referred to as a barometer of culture, and even in Japan, a so-called civilized country, a large amount of used paper is produced from newspapers and various printed materials.
Since these used papers are made from wood pulp, which is a limited natural resource on the earth, it is desirable to use them effectively by recycling them. For this reason, waste paper is mixed into a new wood pipe as a part of the stock, and a representative example thereof is old newspaper. In the case of this old newspaper, it is usually collected from a general household at a predetermined collection place. The collected used newspaper is collected by a paper recovery company, put on a truck, and collected by a paper manufacturer via an intermediate company. The paper is then processed as a stock by the paper maker, mixed with new wood pulp, and reused.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional example 1, since old newspapers are individually processed, their sizes are not uniform, and handling at a collection place is extremely inconvenient. Moreover, when the collection company puts it on a truck, the size of each old newspaper was not uniform, so that it was difficult to load and the transportation efficiency was poor. Especially in the case of plastic bags, not only is there a risk of collapse of the cargo, but also in the end, the old newspaper and the plastic bags must be separated in order to be treated as stock, which requires a lot of time and effort. There was a fear that it would increase costs.

[0005] On the other hand, if the newspaper sorting boxes of the prior art examples 4 and 5 are used, the size of the old newspaper to be processed is almost uniform, so that the above-mentioned problem does not occur. Since it is made of a thin, single-sheet white paperboard, there is anxiety in terms of form stability and strength, and it is not suitable for repeated use because it is easily deformed. Furthermore, since the bottom wall has a relatively large opening in the center for easy folding, when the newspaper sorting box is lifted as it is in a state where old newspapers are stacked and stored, the weight of the old newspapers inside is reduced. There was annoyance that he could not stand it, the bottom wall came off, and he had to put old newspaper again. Furthermore, since the upper end edge of the newspaper sorting box is formed in a sharp cut surface, there is a risk that the upper end edge may inadvertently injure a finger and there is a problem in safety.

As described above, the newspaper sorting box of the present invention is made of corrugated cardboard mixed with old newspaper and is recyclable. Further, since it is freely foldable, it can be easily folded to be compact, and the box shape can be made one-touch. Can be converted to Then, in a state where the old newspapers stacked and stored are full, the upper surface is stopped with a gum tape or tied with a paper string, collected at a collection place, and collected by a collection company as it is. At this time, the size is almost uniform,
Very easy to handle. In addition, even if each end wall is bent inward with a reverse ruled line to make it compact,
Since a hollow hole is provided along the folding line, the bent portion of the overlapped piece or the bottom piece is not pulled and torn, and it is strongly corrugated as a whole, and it is strongly deformed, etc. Does not occur. Furthermore, since the bottom is closed by each bottom piece, even if the newspaper sorting box is lifted, the bottom of the newspaper does not fall out enough to withstand the weight of the old newspapers to be stored, and the upper edge is formed with a rounded edge. Therefore, there is no danger of damaging the hands and fingers.

Next, a method of using the newspaper sorting box B will be described. First, when old newspapers are stacked and accommodated, and the entire newspaper sorting box B is processed, the newspaper sorting box B folded compactly as shown in FIG. 6A is opened as shown in FIG. 6B. Old newspaper P which was box-shaped and read in this state
Are piled up in order and stored. Newspaper box B is
It has the same plane shape as the size of old newspaper P folded in four, and can accommodate newspaper paper of about one month (about 8.5 kg). Therefore, in a state in which the newspaper sorting box B is almost completely filled with the newspaper P as shown in FIG. 6C, the gum tapes T, T are applied to the upper surface thereof so as to straddle the both side walls 3a, 3b, and to the collection location. Take it with you. In this way, the old newspapers issued from each household are stored in the newspaper sorting box B having a uniform size, and the handling becomes easy. As described above, the newspaper sorting box according to the present invention can be made of corrugated cardboard to have a robust structure as a whole. Further, used paper is mixed with the raw material of corrugated cardboard. This can contribute to the recycling of waste paper and the effective use of wood pulp, which is a limited natural resource. In addition, since it is structurally corrugated paper and the upper end side of each end wall and each side wall has a double structure of a superposed piece, it can be reinforced to improve the stability of the form, and each end can be improved. Since the upper end of the wall and each side wall is rounded, the safety is improved without damaging the fingers. Furthermore, when each opposing end wall is folded inward with a reverse ruled line, a hollow hole is provided, so that the bent portion between the overlapping piece and the bottom piece does not tear and break, and the bottom surface is Since the bottom piece is tightly combined and closed, it does not come off due to the load of the old newspaper stored, and can be used in a stable state when used repeatedly.
