用鋼帯3と、該補強用鋼帯3の外周に押出成形により形
成した防食用直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン層4とからなる
送水用パイプの構成としたものであるから、中心部には
押出成形により形成された高密度ポリエチレンの樹脂製
導管1を設けてこれにより送水するから、従来の鋼管、
鋳物管に比べて軽量安価であり、簡単に曲げられるから
取扱も容易であり、樹脂製導管1の外周に螺旋状に密着
巻回した緩衝用布テープ2を介して補強用鋼帯3を巻回
したから、補強用鋼帯3を巻回しこれを曲げても重要な
樹脂製導管1は損傷せず、補強用鋼帯3の巻回によりパ
イプは全体に堅牢となり、補強用鋼帯3の外周に防食用
直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン層4を設けたから、摩耗に対
して著しく堅牢となり、他の材料に比し寒さには圧倒的
に強いので寒冷地での使用に向き、地域により送水パイ
