Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof-cover structure for electronic component, which can perform hinge coupling of a lower cover and an upper cover so that they are freely opened and closed without using coupling parts other than the cover, and can improve coupling workability of the covers. SOLUTION: Both ends of a plurality of supporting shafts 14A, 14B and 14C, which are separately provided in parallel with a back-wall outer surface 13 of a lower cover 11 are molded of resin as a unitary body with the lower cover 11 through a supporting part 15 at the back-wall outer surface 13 of the lower cover 11. Further-more, at a back-wall outer surface 16 of an upper cover 12, at least two arcuate bearings 17A and 17C, which are in contact with the surrounding surfaces of the supporting shafts 14A and 14B when the upper cover 12 is attached to the lower cover 11, and an arcuate shaft pushing part 18 in contact with the surrounding surface of the other supporting shaft 14B are molded of resin integrally with the upper cover 12.

However, the use of the shaft pin 3 and the nut 5, which are separate members, as means for connecting the lower cover 1 and the upper cover 2 as described above, requires that the lower cover 1 and the upper cover 2 be connected to each other. The number of used parts required for connection is increased, which complicates the parts management, and furthermore, it takes time and labor during the assembling work, resulting in poor workability. In addition, there is a problem that the product cost increases.

Further, the upper surface 19 of the bearings 17A, 17B and the lower surface 20 of the shaft retainer 18 are connected to the support shafts 14A,
14B and 14C are formed in an arc having the same curvature as the curvature of the bearings 17A and 17B and the shaft retainer 18.
When viewed from the side, the opening width (r) of the support shaft insertion groove 21 formed by the bearings 17A and 17B and the shaft retainer 18 in cooperation with each other is larger than the diameter (R) of the support shafts 14A to 14C. It is set a little smaller.

Further, both right and left end surfaces of the shaft retainer 18 are supported by both side support portions 15, 1 for supporting both ends of the support shaft 14B.
5 is formed on a guide surface 23 which is guided between the shafts 5, and the shaft retainer 18 is provided on both side supporting portions 1 supporting the support shaft 14B.
By inserting the lower cover 11 and the upper cover 12, the lower cover 11 and the upper cover 12 are positioned in the horizontal direction (the direction of the axis X). Also, the shaft holder 18
As a means for making it easy to fit between the support portions on both sides, the guide surfaces 23 of the shaft retainer 18 are formed as inclined surfaces (tapered surfaces) tapering toward the front end thereof, and the guide surfaces are formed. It is advantageous to form a corner between 23 and the leading edge in a radius.

The above is the present embodiment. Next, the attachment of the lower cover 11 and the upper cover 12 will be described. The upper wall having an opening facing upward is provided on the back wall of the lower cover 11 in which electronic components and the like are stored. After the back walls of the cover 12 are opposed to each other (see FIG. 3), the back walls of the covers 11 and 12 are brought close to each other, and the bearings 17A and 17B provided on the upper cover 12 are connected to the support shafts 14A and 1 of the lower cover 11.
4C and the upper cover 1
The shaft retainer 18 provided on the shaft 2 is positioned immediately below the support shaft 14B, that is, between the support portions 15 on both sides of the support shaft 14B.

In the form of the spindle fitting groove 21 formed cooperatively by the bearings 17A and 17B and the shaft holder 18, the opening of the spindle fitting groove 21 is formed as shown in FIG. Since the width (r) is set slightly smaller than the diameter (R) of the support shafts 14A to 14C, the support shaft fitting groove 2 is provided.
When the support shafts 14A to 14C are inserted into the shaft 1, a sense of moderation is generated when the support shafts pass through the openings of the support shaft fitting grooves, whereby the lower cover 11 and the upper cover 12 are Are also positioned and hinged.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, a pair of support shafts 14A, 14B and 14C are formed on the lower cover 11,
Since the upper cover 12 is formed integrally with the bearings 17A and 17B and the shaft presser 18 which are positioned so as to sandwich the support shaft, both the lower cover 11 and the upper cover 12 are covered during the assembly work. Can be connected to the regular position with one touch, whereby the workability of assembling the lower cover 11 and the upper cover 12 is greatly improved. Further, since the lower cover and the upper cover 12 can be assembled without using any mounting parts other than the cover, members such as shaft pins and nuts which have been conventionally used are not required, thereby increasing the economy. .
