Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate forming work and length-adjusting and cutting work of an end turn for improvement of efficiency of assembling work, by forming fitting contact surfaces on the fitting portion of a rotor coil end turn of a final arcuate shape to be assembled on to a rotor and the fitting surface of the rotor coil end turn to be connected. SOLUTION: A rotor coil end part is bent to a final arcuate shape when assembled in the stage of manufacturing the coil. Then, it is cut to the length of a rotor coil end turn 4 before assembling so that fitting portions 5a and 6a of a rotor coil end turn 4 can be matched in the assembled state. Also, the fitting portions 5a, 6a, of the rotor coil turn 4 has an easy-to-connect structure for connecting the fitting surfaces. This structure enables the fitting portions 5a, 6a to be matched easily and connected simply, by inserting a rotor coil into the slot of a rotor shaft coil. Thus, it is possible to cut the usual forming work of the rotor coil end turn 4 and the cutting work for adjusting the fitting portion length, thereby improving the efficiency of the assembling work of the rotor coil.
