Since the optical fiber or the optical cord is connected to the connector as described above, when inserting or removing the connector at a certain location, the optical fiber or the optical cord connected to the adjacent connector is pushed away to remove the gap. You have to make and work. However, if the adjacent optical fiber or optical cord is subjected to excessive bending, the transmission characteristics will change, which will hinder the line in operation.
Care must be taken not to give excessive bends to adjacent optical fibers or optical cords.

Next, a method for performing the operation using the connector partition plate of the present invention will be described. First, when inserting or removing a connector to which an optical fiber or an optical connector is connected at a predetermined adapter or connector location, the number of the connector is counted according to the wiring number, and a desired location is searched for. The connector partition plate of the present invention is attached to a position of a wiring board including a group of connectors including the following.

When a fixing portion using a permanent magnet is provided on the wiring board mounting portion, the mounting can be easily performed simply by pressing the connector partition plate against the wiring board. Once the connector partition plate is installed, even when searching for the position multiple times, there is no need to count and search the connector position, just search for the required connector in a group and switch the connection. Work can be done quickly.

Further, when the connector partition plate of the present invention is used, since the wrapper portion is not very open at the time of mounting, the mounting can be performed without pushing away the optical fiber or the optical cord connected to the adjacent connector. In inserting and removing the connector, fingers are inserted into the opening of the trumpet section with the nectar sandwiched between fingers. At this time, since the wrapper is made of a material having bending elasticity, it can be spread by a finger, but since the outer surface of the wrapper is tapered, the optical fiber or optical cord connected to the adjacent connector is tapered. You will be pushed away along the surface.

In this case, since the optical fiber or the optical cord is uniformly pushed away by the tapered surface, the bending force applied to the optical fiber or the optical cord is uniformly distributed and cannot be applied to a specific portion of the optical fiber or the optical cord. No bending is added. Therefore, unlike the case where the optical fiber or the optical cord connected to the adjacent connector is pushed away with the finger, no trouble occurs due to the fluctuation of the transmission characteristics of the optical fiber or the optical cord connected to the adjacent connector.

According to the connector partition plate of the present invention, one to a dozen or so groups including the desired connector to be switched on the wiring board can be separated from other connectors and can be detached. By simply searching, the second and subsequent times can easily find the desired position of the connector as long as the connector partition plate is not removed. Therefore, it is suitable for a switching operation in which it is necessary to search for a connector at the same position a plurality of times, such as a wiring board switching operation, and brings about an effect of reducing the operation time.

Further, the connector partition plate of the present invention has a wrapper portion, and the opening of the wrapper portion can be enlarged by a finger. However, since the optical fiber or optical cord connected to the adjacent connector is uniformly pushed away by the back surface of the wrapper part, the optical fiber or optical cord is subjected to unreasonable bending such as the case where a finger directly shakes the optical fiber or optical cord. Will not be given to Therefore, in the connection switching operation, there is no possibility that the transmission characteristics of the adjacent line are affected.
