DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for subsequent production of optical fiber cables incorporating optical fibers.

Similar to communication cables, it is almost impossible for optical fiber cables to be laid completely straight in reality, and some degree of bending is unavoidable.

By the way, the fiber wires constituting the optical fiber cable have higher rigidity than those of communication cables and have almost no elongation. Therefore, if the bending direction of the installation path is uneven, the ends of the fiber strands at the terminal or connection end of the optical fiber cable will become uneven.

In such a case, it becomes very difficult to connect the fiber wires all at once. Furthermore, when connecting optical fiber cables, the fiber strands are exposed and the end faces are polished, but if this operation fails, the fiber strands become even more irregular. On the other hand, connected fiber wires are weak against external forces unless they have a certain amount of slack, but if the fiber wires become uneven as described above, some fiber wires will become sagging, and other fiber wires will become sagging. In view of the above points, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for reliably and easily connecting optical fiber cables regardless of the installation environment.

Therefore, the gist of the present invention is to extend from both optical fiber cables to be connected to an accumulator consisting of a board with a large number of pins arranged randomly on its surface via arbitrary pins located at the corresponding ends of the accumulator. A connection of optical fiber cables, characterized in that a large number of optical fibers are drawn in, each of the large number of optical fibers is sequentially entwined with an arbitrary pin, and then the corresponding optical fiber cables are connected to each other. It's in the method.

Then, the fiber wire 2 of the optical fiber cable 1, 1'
, 2' are drawn into the accumulator 3 via pins 7 arranged on the outer periphery, and both fiber wires 2, 2'
' is twisted around an arbitrary pin 7 and connected to the central part of the accumulator 3 from an appropriate position with a pull-out connector 4. Therefore, when the length of the continuous fiber wires 2, 2' is insufficient, the length is adjusted by changing the pull-out position of the fiber bare wires 2, 2', and the length is compensated for and optimized. At the same time, the fiber wires 2, 2' and the connector 4 connected by a large number of pins 7 can be maintained in an array.
