Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a burglar by providing a reflecting plate reflecting optical beams on the inner surface of a metallic burglar preventing band wound on the circumferential surface of a metallic equipment body containing a money adjusting machine, and detecting and alarming an abnormality by an optical sensor provided within the metallic equipment body when the metallic burglar preventing band is broken or shifted. SOLUTION: A metallic burglar preventing band 2 is mounted close to the circumferential surface of a metallic equipment body 1 containing a money adjusting machine, and a reflecting plate 4 reflecting optical beams is provided on the inner surface of the metallic burglar preventing band 2. Further, an optical sensor 5 is mounted on the inside of the door 3 of the metallic equipment body 1. An optical beam 8 from the light emitting element of the optical sensor 5 is passed through a through-hole 9 provided on the door 3 and reflected by the reflecting plate 4, and the reflected light passed through the through-hole 9 is received by the light receiving element of the optical sensor 5. When the metallic burglar band 2 is broken or shifted from a prescribed position, the reflected light from the metallic burglar preventing band 2 can not be received by the light receiving element, and a controller 6 which detects this rings a bell 7.

[Claims] 1. A security band wrapped around an outer peripheral surface of a metal housing housing a cash settlement machine, wherein a light beam is applied to an inner surface of the metal security band wound tightly around the outer peripheral surface of the metal housing. A reflecting plate for reflecting light is provided, and a light beam from a light emitting element of an optical sensor provided inside the metal housing is projected on a reflecting plate of a metal security band through a through hole provided in a door of the metal housing. An alarm device is configured to emit light, and the reflected light of the light beam is received by the light receiving element of the optical sensor through the through hole, and an alarm device is provided when it is detected that the light receiving element has stopped receiving light. A security band with a built-in sensor, wherein a bell is sounded to warn that an abnormality has occurred due to damage or displacement of the metal security band.
