2. Description of the Related Art Insulating paper containers, which have been used mainly for instant noodles, include a corrugated insulating material processed so that convex and concave stripes are alternately arranged in the vertical direction. Are often wound around the outer periphery of the body of a paper cup body. In JP-A-8-113274, an insulated container in which the cross-sectional shape of a corrugated sheet is changed and the number of flat portions is increased by reducing the number of concave portions on the surface has been proposed and put to practical use. JP-A-4-45216 and JP-A-8-104372 disclose an insulated container having a corrugated or embossed heat insulating material and a liner or thin paper wound thereon, and having no uneven surface. Proposed. On the other hand, in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-45212, there is also proposed a method of providing heat insulation by using a space formed between double cups without using such a heat insulating material.

However, the above-mentioned heat insulating material obtained by winding a corrugated insulating material around the body of the cup body is actually hand-operated irrespective of the cross-sectional shape of the heat insulating material. There is a problem that the upper part of the heat-insulated container that is not touched is finished unnecessarily thick. Further, there is a problem that it is difficult to give a luxurious design due to the unevenness of the surface, and that letters, designs, etc. printed on the surface are very difficult to see. In order to solve the problem of appearance,
JP-A-87479, JP-B-4-45216, and the like suggest that the heat-insulating container further packaged with a liner or thin paper has a problem that the production cost is too high, and that the yarn end of the heat-insulating container tends to be uneven. In addition, there is a problem in appearance that the cross section of the uneven stripes or the emboss is visible when viewed from below, and further, there is a hygienic problem in which dust enters the gaps and liquid penetrates. FIG. 5 is a sectional view of a conventional heat insulating container 40 proposed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-45212. The heat insulating container 40 has a cylindrical body 15 having a curl portion 16 curled inward at a lower end thereof and a bottom wall 12 and a body side wall 11 of a paper cup body having a top curl portion 13 curled outward. Then, the two are brought into contact with each other vertically to be integrated, and a heat insulating space is formed by utilizing the thickness of the curled portion 16 of the tubular body 15. Since the heat insulating container 40 does not particularly use a heat insulating material, the above-mentioned disadvantages caused by the heat insulating material have been solved. However, when the body central portion is actually held by hand, the cylindrical body 15 is However, there is a problem that the space is easily lost and the heat insulating property is insufficient. The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and has an object to provide a paper heat insulating container having stable heat insulating properties, excellent designability, high degree of freedom in printing expression, and low manufacturing cost. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of a heat insulating container according to the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1A, the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention has an outward curl portion 3 at the upper end of the body side wall 1 and a horizontal rib 4 in the middle of the body side wall 1, and the bottom plate 2 is provided. As shown in FIG. 1 (b), the cup body 10 is made of a paperboard having a bottom and has an inverted frustoconical tubular body 20 which is open up and down and has an inward curl portion 6 at the lower end. Is
As shown in FIG. 1C, the upper end of the tubular body 20 is glued and fixed to the outer periphery of the body side wall near the outward curled portion 3 of the cup body 10 and the lower end of the tubular body 20 is fixed. The inner surface of the inward curl portion 6 is fixed to the outer periphery of the lower end of the body side wall 1 forming the bottom of the paper cup body 10, and is integrally combined to form the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention. The outwardly protruding horizontal ribs 4 provided on the body side wall 1 of the cup body 10 function to reinforce the strength of the cup body 10 and form a heat insulating space. There may be. In addition, the position may be appropriately determined in consideration of the strength balance of the cup body 10, and one of the positions is, as shown in FIG. 1 (c), appropriate for hot water supply when pouring hot water into the cup body. It is preferable that the line be provided at a position which also serves as a level indicating line, that is, a hot water insertion line 7. The heat insulation container 30 according to the present invention shown in FIG.
Unlike the conventional heat insulating container 40 shown in FIG. 5, the horizontal rib 4 serves as a fulcrum of the side wall 5 of the cylindrical body. Inward bending can be reduced. This maintains the interval between the heat insulating spaces, so that good heat insulating properties can be obtained. The interval between the heat insulating spaces of the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention becomes larger toward the bottom, and the heat insulating property from the middle to the bottom is sufficient. However, the top outward curling part 3
The heat insulating property decreases in the portion close to. To make up for this,
Another embodiment of the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention as shown in FIG. 1 (d) can be provided. This is a heat insulating container in which a paper heat insulating member 9 in which convex and concave stripes are alternately arranged is wrapped around the upper part of the body side wall 1 of the paper cup body. Also in this case, the upper end of the cylindrical body 20 is fixed to the body side wall 1 of the cup body and the vicinity of the outward curl portion 3 via the heat insulating member 9. FIG. 1C and FIG. 1D show different uses of the heat insulating container 20 according to the present invention. For example, when hot water is supplied only to an intermediate level of the heat insulating container such as instant miso soup or instant soup, The type shown in FIG. 1C is preferable, and when hot water is supplied to the top of the heat insulating container like a cup ramen, the type shown in FIG. 1D is preferably used.

FIG. 2 is a bottom view of the cup body of the heat insulating container according to the present invention. As shown in FIG. 2, the horizontal ribs 4 provided in the middle of the trunk may continuously rotate around the trunk side wall 1 as shown in FIG. 2A, or as shown in FIG. May be intermittently circulated. When the number of the horizontal ribs 4 is the same, the intermittent rotation is slightly inferior in preventing the side wall 5 of the tubular body 20 from bending, but the heat insulating space is expanded, and the heat insulating space communicates up and down. Since the movement of the heated air in the entire space is easily performed, the temperature rise is homogenized, and as a result, the effect of improving the heat insulating property is obtained. When the notch 8 is provided by intermittently connecting the horizontal ribs 4 as described above, the number of divisions is 4 to 8 with respect to the entire circumference, and the ratio of the notch 8 to the entire circumference is 30%. The following is preferred.

FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a horizontal rib of the heat insulating container according to the present invention. The horizontal ribs 4 formed on the cup body 10 are preferably in the form of sharp protrusions as shown in FIG. 3A in order to widen the heat insulation space. It is premised that the processing suitability of the paperboard used for the main body 10 is excellent. On the contrary, FIG.
The gentle horizontal ribs 4 as shown in (b) are not limited to paperboard, and the molding method is easy. However, the joint area of the side walls 1 and 5 is increased, and the heat insulating space is reduced. Lost and undesirable. Therefore, the horizontal rib 4 having a cross section as shown in FIG. 3 (c) is most preferable from the viewpoint of heat insulation and proper processing (described later).

FIG. 4 is a space explanatory view of a horizontal rib level in the heat insulating container according to the present invention. As shown in FIG.
In forming the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention, the horizontal rib 4
May be in contact with the side wall 5 of the tubular body 20 as shown in FIG. 4A, or may not be in contact as shown in FIG. 4B. Rather, those who are not in contact, after cooking hot water,
Despite some bending, the surface temperature is low and easy to hold. This is because the heat insulation space is larger when there is no contact, and convection of air easily occurs up and down in the side walls 1 and 5, and heat can be dispersed.

The internal volume targeted by the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention is 200 to 500 cc when fully filled. To mold the paper cup body 10 having an internal volume in this range in a conventional paper cup forming machine, the use of the basis weight of the cup base paper of 160g / m 2 ~300g / m 2 is preferred. Normally, the inner surface of the cup base paper is coated with a thermoplastic resin in the range of 20 to 80 μm, and among them, low density polyethylene resin, medium density polyethylene resin, high density polyethylene resin, linear low density polyethylene resin, etc. are preferably extrusion coated. Being used. This thermoplastic resin layer, in addition to the suitability for protecting the contents, improves the moldability of the cup, improves the sealing property of the lid material (not shown) by heat sealing, and also enhances the moldability of the horizontal rib 4. Bring effect.

The paperboard used for the tubular body 20 is required to have curability and formability simultaneously with printability, and has a basis weight of 230 g / m 2.
~ 350 g / m 2 coated cardboard or 160 g
/ M 2 to 250 g / m 2 card paper can be suitably used. If the grammage is less than this limit, the rigidity of the tubular body 20 becomes too low, and the deflection becomes too large, particularly at high heat, to lose sufficient heat insulating properties. However, it is not preferable because the processing suitability of the inward curl portion 6 is deteriorated and the material cost is increased. The material of the cylindrical body 20 is further subjected to a resin coating or a resin impregnating treatment to enhance the rigidity, compression resistance, crush resistance and the like of the entire heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention, and to reduce the content from the external force applied during distribution. It can function to protect things. Next, a method of manufacturing the heat insulating container 30 according to the present invention will be described. First, by a paper cup molding machine,
A cylindrical body having a truncated cone shape is formed from the fan-shaped blank, and the bottom plate 2 is supplied and tightened to form a bottom portion, and an outward curl 3 is formed at the upper open end. Is formed to manufacture the cup body 10 in advance. The processing method of the horizontal rib 4 can be performed in a cup molding machine inline or off-line. That is, the molded paper cup body 10 is previously fitted into a cavity in which a portion corresponding to a horizontal rib is cut in a groove shape, and while rotating, the rotating roller is strongly pressed outward from the inside of the cup with an expander in the groove portion, so that the outer side is rotated. Protruding horizontal ribs can be formed. In this case, if the rotating roller is pressed all over the circumference, a continuous horizontal rib shown in FIG. 2A is obtained, and if the rotary roller is pressed only on the divided portion on the circumference, FIG. The intermittent horizontal rib 4 as shown in FIG. In this case, the cup body 10 processed at the end must be pulled out from the cavity. However, the horizontal rib 4 having a gentle upper slope as shown in FIG. 3 (c) is better as shown in FIG. 3 (a). It is easier to pull out than a sharp one, and it excels in workability. The horizontal ribs 4 can also be formed by drawing using male and female molds.
