Description of the Related Art Generally, a transfer film used for transferring a pattern such as a logo mark, a character, a number, etc. to various articles is formed by printing a predetermined pattern on one side of a band-shaped base film by, for example, gravure printing or screen printing. The above pattern is transferred to the article by pressing a heated pad from the back surface of the base film in a state where the ink layer is positioned on the article surface.

As a result, it has become impossible to satisfy the needs of the product market with only the so-called solid color generally known in the past. Then, in order to cope with such a situation, for example, an attempt has been made to change the composition of the pigment to be mixed with the ink layer in various ways to produce a subtle intermediate color, or to produce a pastel shade. However, in any case, only the conventional color tone is changed, the life cycle of the transfer film is short, and the transfer film does not have sufficient commercial value at present.

Thus, the present invention has been completed.

It has been found that a transfer film that can meet the needs of the commercial market can be provided.

This is because metallic luster cannot be obtained, and even if the content exceeds 30 parts by weight, the degree of metallic luster is not effectively improved.

The resulting circular pattern was printed to a thickness of 1 μm to prepare transfer films A, B, C, and D according to the present invention. Further, as comparative examples, transfer films E and F using inks not containing an aluminum powder dispersion were prepared. The aluminum powder dispersion used was Metalure (registered trademark) L-55350 (aluminum powder 10%, ethyl acetate 89%, acetone 1%) manufactured by Avery Dennison.
