2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known a liquid applicator using a white pigment for correcting erroneous characters and the like. This type of liquid applicator is such that ink and balls are sealed in a flexible container because the white pigment and the solvent are easily separated.
When used, it is necessary to shake and stir. Further, the ink is ejected by pressing the side surface of the container. However, when the remaining amount of the ink becomes small, even if the side wall of the container is strongly pushed, the ink is not ejected. Further, the tip of the application is sealed with a cap so as not to dry.

Recently, a ballpoint pen for water-based ink called medium viscosity using an ink having an intermediate viscosity region between water and oil (several mPa · S to several thousand mPa · S) has been developed.
This is a ballpoint pen using a relatively low-viscosity water-based ink having a characteristic of lowering the viscosity by the rotation of the tip ball and smoothly flowing out the ink, that is, a so-called shear thinning property. In addition, low-viscosity inks such as medium-viscosity water-based inks and low-viscosity oil-based inks all have low viscosities, and therefore have a phenomenon in which the ink easily flows backward or direct current. If the ink causes backflow or direct current, there is a risk of soiling clothes and the like. In addition, there is a drawback that handwriting is apt to occur due to drop or knock impact. A medium-viscosity aqueous ballpoint pen is usually filled with a grease-like translucent non-drying substance called a follower at the rear end of the ink storage tube. It can be considered that evaporation from the gap with the ball holding portion is reduced. It is known that a shaft cylinder is provided with two types of writing at both ends.

In a conventional writing implement having two types of writing bodies at both ends of a shaft cylinder, one of the writing bodies is short because the total length of the shaft is long. Therefore, there is a drawback that the writing life is short, and there is a problem that it is difficult to obtain in the market due to a special writing type. An object of the present invention is to provide a convenient double-headed ball-point pen equipped with a ball-point pen for correcting a typographical error that does not require agitation along with solving the problem and does not have to bother pressing the side of the container. Also, it is possible to provide a convenient ballpoint pen that can easily change the application width while correcting a typographical error. To enable coarse and fine correction.

A white pigment ink 9 is filled in the inner hole 1g of the barrel 1 and a grease-like follower 10 is provided at the rear end of the ink 9 so as to come in contact with and follow the ink surface as the ink is consumed. Will be filled. A follower 11 made of resin having a specific gravity substantially equal to that of the follower 10 is immersed in the follower 10. The driven body 11 may be provided as necessary (in the case where the cross-sectional diameter of the ink storage portion is large and the ink head is large. In addition, the ink viscosity is so low that the ink head cannot be supported or the follower is easily deformed by impact. Etc.). As described above, when the tip side is downward, the ball valve 5 comes into contact with the rear end of the rib 2c, and the ink flows into the tip inner hole through the guide hole 3d and the valve chamber 4, and is guided to the back of the tip ball 7. Thus, the first ballpoint pen is configured.

The ink 9 contains at least a white pigment such as titanium oxide and hollow polymer particles and a gelling agent.
It is a white pigment ink formulated to prevent sedimentation of the pigment and not to impair the fluidity. The viscosity of the ink is 10,000 cps (E-type viscometer, 1 rpm, 25 rpm).
° C) or less, there is a tendency for pigment settling, and
If it is 0 cps or more, a problem occurs in ink ejection. Therefore, the viscosity of the ink is set in the middle range, and although it has a high viscosity, it has a shear thinning property, so that the coating can be applied with a high concealing property in combination with the decrease in the viscosity by the rotation of the tip ball. In addition, the ballpoint pen for correcting typographical errors is set to have a large discharge amount in order to increase the hiding power by application, and the gap between the tip ball and the inner surface of the ball holding portion of the chip is compared with a ballpoint pen for writing. Slightly larger. Also, since the ink consumption is large, the cross-sectional diameter of the ink storage section may be large, so that even with high-viscosity ink, direct current or backflow of the ink cannot be ignored.

In the above embodiment, if only the spring 8 for pressing the back surface of the tip ball 7 is provided in the inner hole of the chip 6, the direct current and the backflow of the ink are normally prevented. However, when the upward writing is repeated or the close contact between the tip ball and the inner surface of the ball holding portion of the chip is incomplete (contamination of foreign matter, deformation due to external force), a backflow phenomenon occurs, and the coating becomes impossible at last. There is a possibility that the ball valve 5 is provided in the valve chamber 4 as a preventive means.

A small-diameter spring 38 is inserted into each of the chip inner holes 34 as necessary. The spring 38 is provided such that the rear end thereof cannot be pulled out by abutting the rear end of the step portion 31b provided on the holder 31 or by caulking the rear end of the shaft portion 35 of the chip 32. A linear rod 39 is formed in front of the spring 38, and the tip of the rod 39 is pressed against the rear surface of the tip ball 33.
Further, the tip ball 33 is brought into close contact with the inner edge of the ball holding portion of the chip by the pressing. Therefore, the problem of direct bleeding of the ink downward from the tip ball 33 downward is prevented. It should be noted that a top having a rod shaft portion at the tip may be provided at the front end of the spring.

The close contact of the tip ball 33 with the inner surface of the ball holding portion of the chip is extremely important for drying the writing tip and preventing direct current of the ink even if the ink has a high viscosity. (In order to increase the amount of ink ejected, the retreat dimension of the tip ball is set larger than that of a medium viscosity ballpoint pen.) Surface roughness of the tip inner surface holding the tip ball 33, close contact accuracy by caulking Grinding of the inner surface to improve the quality and secondary plastic working to improve the caulking accuracy are considered.
In addition, a surface treatment or the like is taken into consideration for the surface in close contact with the tip ball.

FIG. 3 shows a first ball-point pen in the first embodiment. FIG. 3 shows a state in which the tip 6 is turned upward. At this time, the ball valve 5 is mounted on the ball valve seat 3 of the valve chamber 4.
Since the guide hole 3d is closed in close contact with c, the ink does not flow backward even if the ink on the back surface of the tip ball 7 is exhausted by upward application. Therefore, when the tip 6 is turned downward, the ink can immediately flow out, thereby preventing the ink from running out during the coating operation. (By the way, in the structure without the ball valve, the ink head acts in the backward flow direction in the upward application, so that air is entrapped in the chip, and the ink does not immediately follow in the downward application. Is gradually accumulated)

In the state before the application with the chip 6 facing downward, the ball valve 5 comes into contact with the front end of the rib 2c in the valve chamber, and the conducting hole 3d is opened. 3d guide hole from ink storage
The ink 9 that has entered the valve chamber 4 through the groove flows into the inner hole of the chip through the groove formed between the ribs, and is guided to the back of the tip ball 7. In this state, the tip ball 7 is brought into close contact with the inner edge of the chip holding portion by the pressing of the rod shaft portion 8a of the spring 8, so that the direct current of the ink 9 is prevented. In addition, the tip ball 7 is slightly retracted by the application pressure, so that a gap is generated and ink can flow out, and the rotation of the tip ball 7 lowers the viscosity of the ink to smoothly flow out and correct a typographical error. Further, since the tip ball 7 is always in close contact with the inner edge of the tip holding portion, the writing at the tip portion is prevented from being scribbled. Further, even if upward writing or impact is repeatedly applied by the cooperative action of the tip ball 7 and the ball valve 5, the entrainment of air is alleviated, so that writing blur is prevented. The direct current and the backflow of the ink are achieved by the pressing of the tip ball 7 by the spring 8. The spring 8 is provided to complement the incomplete state when solid matter adheres to the gap of the ink, to support the large ink head to reliably prevent the backflow of the ink, and to alleviate the air entrapment (prevent the rake). The construction and operation of the present invention are as described above, and a commercially available ballpoint pen refill having a long writing life can be mounted with an easy-to-use shaft length. A convenient double-headed ball-point pen with a correction ball-point pen can be provided. Further, by using a white gel-like ink for the ballpoint pen for correcting a typographical error, there is no problem that the white pigment and the solvent are separated as in the prior art, and therefore there is no need to stir the ink. In addition, it is possible to provide a ballpoint pen for correcting erroneous characters that does not bother pressing the side surface of the container when correcting erroneous characters. In addition, backflow and direct current of ink are prevented, and accidents that stain hands, clothes, and the like are prevented. In addition, the ink can immediately follow after upward writing or impact. Also, by combining chips for bold and fine characters,
By changing the grip position, it is possible to easily correct a large portion and a small portion.
