Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent generation of an end mark in coiling a coil by interposing a coiling buffer material provided with a large number of projections between overlapped parts of a leading end part of a first turn of a steel strip to be reeled with a overlapping part of a second turn. SOLUTION: Coiling is started by interposing a coiling buffer material 1 between a leading end part of a first turn and a starting part of a second turn in a reel of a steel strip S. In the buffer material 1, a large number of projected bars 12 made of plastic, fiber, rubber or the like with elasticity are mounted in parallel on a mount 11 made of paper, etc., through attachment, and at the same time, recessed bars 13 are formed on the mount 11. A large number of recessed and projected bars are provided in parallel. The buffer material 1 is of the size at least as wide as or wider than the width of the steel strip S, and the recessed and projected bars 12, 13 are formed in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the steel strip S. As the steel strip S is coiled more, the projected bars 13 of the buffer material 1 are squeezed to absorb and disperse the bearing pressure at the squeezed part, and prevent generation of end marks.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an effective winding method for preventing end marks from being generated at the leading end of a wound steel strip, for example, when winding a coil of a cold-rolled steel strip, and to an implementation of the method. The present invention relates to a winding cushion used.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, when a steel strip is wound into a coil,
As shown in FIG. 6, a step portion 2 is inevitably formed between the leading end of the winding of the steel strip S and the surface of the reel 3, and the second winding is wound on the step portion 2. As a result, the surface pressure of the coil is concentrated on the stepped portion 2 and increases as the number of turns of the steel strip S increases. I do.

[0003] In order to prevent such end marks, the following various methods have conventionally been proposed. The technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-113118 discloses that a tapered sleeve that gradually increases in thickness from a winding start position of a steel strip toward a direction in which the steel strip is wound is mounted on a steel strip winding surface of a reel. Then, it is a method of winding with a winding tension of 1.0 kgf / mm 2 or more and 4.0 kgf / mm 2 or less. The technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-122111 is a method in which the tip of a steel strip is made thinner than the product sheet thickness, and the thickness of the steel strip tip is gradually changed so as to become the product sheet thickness. The technology disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 61-148419 has a width equal to or greater than the width of a steel strip, and forms a step corresponding to the thickness of the steel strip at an intermediate portion. This is a method using a jig for sequentially reducing the thickness toward both end edges. The technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-279025 discloses a tapered thin plate extending in the surface width direction of the winding drum in a direction opposite to the rotation of the winding drum and in a tangential direction of the winding drum. Is a device to which is fixed.

As shown in FIG. 3, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 3, a concave strip 10 and a convex strip 20 are used as a cushioning material 1 for preventing an end mark between the leading end of the first turn of the steel strip S and the overlapped portion of the second turn. Are alternately arranged to form a waveform. However, in this cushioning material, the direction of the series of the concave and convex strips 10 and 20 is the steel strip S.
In particular, when the tip of the steel strip is located in the recessed portion, it is difficult to disperse the concentration of the surface pressure at the step portion, and the effect of preventing the end mark is small.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Among the above-mentioned conventional methods, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-113118 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No.
The technology disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 25-205 has a disadvantage that the equipment cost is high and it is difficult to manufacture an inexpensive product.
The method disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2111 has a drawback that the productivity of steel strip production is reduced, and the method disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 61-148419 cannot not only completely prevent sheet breakage, but also The end of the steel strip rolled to a thickness smaller than the sheet thickness must be finally cut off, which causes a problem of lowering the yield.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings showing an embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 1 and 2 show a cushioning material 1 according to the present invention. The cushioning material 1 is formed by attaching a ridge 12 made of plastic, fiber, rubber or the like having elasticity to a paper mount 11. By attaching a large number in parallel by means of (1), the concave stripes 13 are formed on the mount 11 at the same time, and the concave and convex stripes 12 and 13 are provided so as to be parallel to each other.

The cushioning material 1 straddles the step between the front end of the winding start of the steel strip S on the reel and the reel surface, that is, the first end of the steel strip S and the start of the second winding. In this way, winding is started after the insertion. Specifically, it is preferable to insert and interpose the cushioning material 1 when chucking the tip of the steel strip S to the reel.

FIG. 5 shows the relationship between the surface pressure difference between the step portion and the steady portion, and the ridge ratio; that is, (the width of the ridge) and (the total width of the ridge and the ridge). When the ridge ratio was 0.5 or more, the result that the surface pressure difference was reduced was obtained.

As described above, according to the method for winding a steel strip according to the present invention, a cushioning material provided with a ridge that matches the longitudinal direction of the steel strip is used to start winding the steel strip around a reel. By interposing over the leading end of the winding and the second winding, the ridges are crushed as it is wound and the surface pressure in this part is absorbed and dispersed. Can be prevented.
