本発明は、車道のセンターライン,車線変更線又は分離帯等に配置される道路標識用の払拭防塵装置及びその製造型に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の払拭防塵装置としては、例えば特開平6−299522号公報や特開平7−13892号公報に開示されたものがある。

先ず、特開平6−299522号公報に開示された道路標識柱は、標識部を覆い且つその標識部に付着した汚れを払拭する払拭装置を備えたものであって、この払拭装置が、柱本体の外周に沿って暖簾状に配置され且つその外周面(標識部)に接触して不規則に揺動可能な多数の払拭部材を有するという構成を採ったものである。そして、この構成によって、即ち払拭部材を風力で不規則に揺動させることによって標識部に付着した自動車の排気ガスや塵埃等の汚れを払拭している。

続いて、特開平7−13892号公報に開示された払拭装置は、断面が非円形の払拭部材を備えたものであり、このように払拭部材を成形することによって風圧を受け易くして払拭能力を向上させたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記特開平6−299522号公報に開示された払拭装置の一つは、一枚のシート状部材に複数の切れ目を設けて払拭部材を形成したものである為、払拭部材に風力が当たらない場合に標識部が隠れて見えないという不都合があった。また、この公報に開示された他の払拭装置は、払拭部材間の間隔部を矩形に形成して風力が当たらずとも標識部を見ることができるが、間隔部の隅部に応力が集中し易い形状となっている為、例えば自動車が衝突することによって払拭部材が根元から破損してしまうという不都合があった。そして、このような払拭装置の製造を、例えば一枚のシート状部材を打ち抜き型で打ち抜いて行う場合には、打ち抜かれた間隔部が屑として廃棄される為、歩留まりが悪いという不都合があった。また、成形型を用いて製造する場合にはその型代が高くなり、安価に払拭装置を製造することができないという不都合もあった。

次に、上記特開平7−13892号公報に開示された払拭装置は、その断面を非円形に形成する為に成形型を用いなければならず、型代が高くなってしまい安価に払拭装置を製造することができないという不都合があった。

【発明の目的】
本発明は、かかる従来例の有する不都合を改善し、特に払拭部材の破損を有効に防止することができ、そして、安価に製造することができる道路標識用の払拭防塵装置及びその製造型を提供することを、その目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成する為、簾状に形成された複数の柔軟性のある払拭部材と、これら各払拭部材が当該各払拭部材間に間隔部を設けて一体的に形成される基幹部とを有する道路標識用払拭防塵装置において、払拭部材を略矩形に形成すると共に、この払拭部材の自由端に丸みを設けている。そして、間隔部の隅部に、払拭部材の丸みと同一形状の丸みを設けている。このように間隔部の隅部に丸みを設けることによって隅部での応力集中を抑制することができる。更に、払拭部材を略矩形に形成し且つ払拭部材の自由端及び間隔部の隅部に同一形状から成る丸みを設けることによって、二つの払拭防塵装置において、一方の払拭防塵装置の払拭部材を他方の払拭防塵装置の間隔部に重ね合わせることができる。即ち、一度の打ち抜き工程にて二つの払拭防塵装置を形成することが可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の一実施形態について図1から図5に基づいて説明する。

図1に示す符号1は、本発明に係る払拭防塵装置の製造型を示す。この製造型1は、図3に示す二つの払拭防塵装置10の形状に対応して配設された刃(裁断手段)2と当該刃2を保持する保持体3とを備えた第一型4と、この第一型4に対向して配設する柔軟性のある板状の第二型5とから成る打ち抜き型であって、後述するように第一型4と第二型5との間に図3に示すシート状部材10Aを配設して打ち抜きを、即ち刃2の配設形状に沿ってシート状部材10Aを裁断して払拭防塵装置10を形成するものである。

第一型4について説明する。先ず、この第一型4の刃2は、図2に示すように、所定の間隔を設けて配設された奇数枚の直線刃の連結体から成る同一波長であり且つ同一振幅の波形刃2aと、この波形刃2aの一端の直線刃に対して所定の間隔を設けて配設された第一直線刃2bと、波形刃2aの他端の直線刃に対して所定の間隔を設けて配設された第二直線刃2cと、波形刃2aの第一直線刃2b側の一端から第二直線刃2cの一端までの間で当該波形刃2aの一方の頂点群を囲む略矩形の第一基幹部形成刃2dと、波形刃2aの第二直線刃2d側の他端から第一直線刃2bの一端までの間で当該波形刃2aの他方の頂点群を囲む略矩形の第二基幹部形成刃2eとで構成される。そして、図2に示すように、第一直線刃2bはその他端を第一基幹部形成刃2dに当接し、且つ第二直線刃2cはその他端を第二基幹部形成刃2eに当接して配設される。ここで、波形刃2aの両端と各基幹部形成刃2d,2eとの連結部分には波形刃2aの頂点の丸みと同等の丸みが設けられている。

このように刃2を構成することによって、図3に示すように一度の打ち抜きで二つの払拭防塵装置10を形成することができる。具体的には、波形刃2a並びに第一及び第二の直線刃2b,2cによって、一方の払拭防塵装置10の各払拭部材11と他方の払拭防塵装置10の各間隔部12とが重なり合った状態で、各払拭防塵装置10の払拭部材11及び間隔部12を後述する一枚のシート状部材10Aから形成することができる。また、第一基幹部形成刃2dによって一方の払拭防塵装置10の基幹部13を、第二基幹部形成刃2eによって他方の払拭防塵装置10の基幹部13を形成することができる。このように一度の打ち抜きで二つの払拭防塵装置10を形成することができるので、生産効率の向上を図ることが可能となる。更に、従来は廃棄されていた間隔部12を他の払拭防塵装置10の払拭部材11として形成することができるので、歩留まりの向上を図ることができ、屑の排出量を少なくすることが可能となる、即ち、製造原価の低減を図ることができ、且つ、省資源化を図ることができる。

更に、波形刃2aを用いている為、その頂点によって各払拭防塵装置10の間隔部12の隅部12aに丸みを設けることができ、この隅部12aでの応力集中を抑制することができる。そして、これにより応力集中に起因する払拭部材11の破損を有効に防止することができる。この場合、後述するように波形刃2aの各直線刃と第一及び第二直線刃2b,2cとを各々略同一間隔で且つ略平行に配設し、各直線刃同士の連結部分の丸みをその間隔に対応した直径の半円にすることによって、より有効に応力集中の抑制を図ることができる。

ここで、第一型4の刃2は、波形刃2aと、第一及び第二直線刃2b,2cと、第一及び第二基幹部形成刃2d,2eとが一枚の略矩形の刃で形成されたものであって、この略矩形の刃を折り曲げて後述する保持体3の溝部3aに埋設される。この場合、前述した第一及び第二直線刃2b,2cの各他端を、この刃2の端部としている。このように一枚ものの刃2に形成することによって、後述するような刃2の交換時の作業性を向上させることができると共に、部品点数の減少に伴って型の管理が容易になる。また、刃2の端部が二ヶ所となる為、打ち抜き形成された後の払拭防塵装置10の裁断面にて、後述するシート状部材10A内の繊維の毛羽立ちの如き繊維残りを減少させることができる。そして、この繊維残りの仕上げ作業(繊維残りを取り除く作業)を行わずに済むので、安価に払拭防塵装置10を形成することができる。尚、刃2の端部位置は、必ずしも本実施形態のものに限定するものではなく、その形状も必ずしも本実施形態のものに限定するものではない。
