Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heald having heald eyes divided with elastic fibers so that beads fit onto warps can pass through the heald. SOLUTION: The ends 2 of two long and narrow plates 1 are bound to each other with elastic yarns 3. The thus produced healds having heald eyes formed from the elastic dividing yarns are fixed to the upper and lower frames of a heald frame 5 one every other plate. The heald frame is attached to a bead- weaving machine in a vertically movable state.
