Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition, capable of manifesting high detergency for foulings with a makeup cosmetic or sebum and having low irritation to skin by including a nonionic surfactant and a water-swellable clay mineral therein. SOLUTION: This detergent composition comprises (A) a nonionic surfactant (preferably a higher fatty acid ester of polyethylene glycol, etc.) and (B) a water-swellable clay mineral (preferably smectite). The composition preferably comprises 1-40wt.% ingredient A and 1-10wt.% ingredient B therein. A mono- or a dihydric or a polyhydric alcohol, an inorganic powder and a water-soluble polymer can preferably further be contained therein. Thereby, the composition can be utilized as a gel, a cream, etc., which are stable, readily taken onto a hand or a face and excellent in massaging and rinsing properties.

2. Description of the Related Art Make-up cosmetics such as lipstick, foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, etc., require a large amount of oil,
Since solid fat is contained, solubilization and emulsification are insufficient if a solid or paste-like face wash mainly containing ordinary soap is used, and it is difficult to remove makeup stains. Conventionally, in order to remove such makeup stains, gel cleansing agents, cleansing creams, cleansing oils, and the like mainly containing an oil base have been used.

However, with these cleansing agents based on oily bases, the cleaning of sebum stains such as solid stains clogging pores is insufficient, and
Since an oily feeling remains, it was necessary to wash again with a paste-like face wash after washing with a cleansing agent. Further, when used in a hot and humid place, a cleansing agent mainly composed of an oily base has a problem that stability becomes poor due to the inclusion of water, and separation and detergency deteriorate. Furthermore, there is a problem that cleansing oil or the like having a low viscosity flows from the face when washing the face and stains clothes and the like.

Further, a detergent composition for removing make-up cosmetics and oily stains such as sebum is also required to be hypoallergenic to the skin. However, ordinary fatty acid soaps and other detergent compositions based on anionic surfactants are generally highly irritating to the skin, and detergent compositions based on nonionic surfactants are also used. The product has low irritation and good detergency, but when it is thickened to maintain shape retention and to be easy to use without liquid dripping etc., the washing speed decreases and the sliminess during rinsing increases. There was a problem.

The detergent composition of the present invention contains, in addition to the above-mentioned components, components used in ordinary detergent compositions, for example, emollients such as triglyceride, diglyceride and monoglyceride other than those described in (C), fungicides,
Preservatives, chelating agents, electrolyte substances, medicinal agents, dyes, fragrances, antioxidants, pH adjusters and the like can be appropriately added within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. The present invention comprises 1 to 40% by weight of component (A) nonionic surfactant and (b)
The present invention relates to a detergent composition containing 0.1 to 10% by weight of a water-swellable clay mineral. The composition at the time of cleaning is excellent in cleanability against makeup and sebum stains, has a shape retention property, and has a small burden during massage. The static viscosity (viscosity coefficient) can be controlled by the addition amount of (B) water-swelling clay mineral such as smectite. Component (A),
By adding the component (C) a polyhydric alcohol to the component (B), the gel properties of the composition obtained can be arbitrarily adjusted according to the intended use. The viscoelastic ratio can be controlled by appropriately selecting the type / amount of the polyhydric alcohol (C). With a suitable polyol such as propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, sorbitol, glycerin, and ethanol, it is possible to obtain a composition which quickly breaks with a small share and has good spreadability while sufficiently maintaining the shape retention. From the stability of the composition, (C) is preferably added in an amount of 30% by weight or less. 30% by weight of (D) inorganic powder in the above components (A), (B) and (C)
When added below, rinsing ease is improved and a refreshing skin feel is obtained. Addition of talc, mica, titanium oxide, etc. gives a creamy composition with good rinsing properties. Even when (E) is added to the above components (A), (B) and (D), the viscoelasticity of the composition can be controlled. At this time, the components (C) and (E) can be added at the same time. By adding 0.1 to 3% by weight of hydroxyethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, carboxyvinyl polymer or the like as the component (E), the viscosity can be adjusted and the stability of the system is increased.

Example 2 5 g of glycerin was dissolved in 77 g of water, 3 g of smectite was added, and the mixture was sufficiently stirred. Furthermore, 15 g of POE (12) monolaurate was added to obtain a composition. The obtained composition is transparent and excellent in shape retention. Moreover, it was easy to massage, and had good detergency and rinsing properties for stains such as makeup and sebum.
