Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject detergent which shows excellent physical properties, e.g. spread on skin, viscosity and the like, along with the excellent detergency and is inexpensive and excellent in the preservative stability by including a gelatinized starch and a nonionic surfactant in a specific proportion. SOLUTION: The objective detergent is obtained by including (A) 0.1-10 wt.% of a gelatinized starch, (B) 0.5-50 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant and (C), when necessary, an aqueous viscosity-increasing agent, a moisturizer, a medicine, an antiseptic, a stabilizer to oxidation, a pearl agent, a washing base or a foaming agent. As the starch, tapioca starch or potato starch is preferably used. As the component B, e.g. an 8-20C monoglyceride (ethoxylate), an 8-20C higher fatty acid sugar ester or the like is preferably used. It is favorable that the component B is contained in an amount of 20 wt.% or more, preferably 30 wt.% or more or particularly 50 wt.% or more, based on the component A.

Means for Solving the Problems The inventors of the present invention have made intensive studies to achieve the above-mentioned object, and as a result, despite being very inexpensive to obtain, in the field of cosmetics and toiletries, conventionally, baby powder and face powder have been used. Base, cream-absorbing powder (Sakai, water-soluble polymer, p. 137, CMC Co., Ltd. (1992)), soap bulking agent, etc.
We focused on starch that simply used its bulk properties. And if such starch is used, it is excellent in cleaning performance, good spreadability on the skin, no slimy when rinsing, easy rinsing, or moderate viscosity, excellent physical properties such as lack of stringiness are obtained, In addition, they have found that a skin and hair cleansing agent which is inexpensive, has little change in viscosity due to temperature fluctuation, is stable even when stored for a long period of time, and has excellent biodegradability can be obtained, thereby completing the present invention.

The effect of the present invention cannot be obtained when starch is raw, and it is necessary to include gelatinized starch. By containing the gelatinized starch, excellent physical properties such as good spreadability on the skin, cleaning performance, storage stability and the like can be imparted to the skin and hair cleansing agent. Here, gelatinization means that, by adding water to starch and heating, the starch granules absorb water and swell, and the bonding of the micelles in the micelles and between the micelles is reduced and the starch is dissolved in a paste form. . Conditions for gelatinizing starch vary depending on the type of starch, and depend on the water content, the presence or absence of stirring during heating, and the like. For example, corn starch is about 62-72.
C., about 58 ° C. for rice starch, about 52-62 ° C. for wheat starch, about 69-75 for potato starch.
° C, about 68-74 ° C for sweet potato starch, about 67 ° C for kudzu starch, about 59-70 for tapioca starch.
° C (Kato et al., New Agricultural Products Utilization, p.21, Asakura Shoten (1987)). The starch can be gelatinized by heating at such a temperature for, for example, 5 minutes or more, preferably 10 minutes or more. In addition, other components such as a nonionic surfactant and an aqueous thickener described below may be added to starch together with water, and heated to gelatinize.

It is also possible to use partially pregelatinized starch (eg, PCA manufactured by Asahi Kasei Kogyo Co., Ltd.) which has been pregelatinized partially. In this case, further heating and gelatinization are carried out depending on the viscosity of the target product. Preferably.

The content of the gelatinized starch must be 0.1 to 10% by weight, and preferably 0.5 to 5% by weight, based on the skin and hair cleansing agent.
If it is less than 0.1% by weight, there is no thickening effect and excellent physical properties such as good spreadability on the skin cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if the content is more than 10% by weight, the cleaning performance is reduced.

The skin and hair cleansing agent of the present invention can be obtained by mixing gelatinized starch, a nonionic surfactant, an aqueous thickener, and other components, stirring, and uniformly dissolving. . Mixing of the gelatinized starch with other components may be performed in a heated state or a cooled state of the gelatinized starch, but is more preferably performed in a heated state because the starch can be easily and uniformly dissolved. In this case, it is preferable to cool after uniform dissolution. Raw starch, water, and all other components may be mixed and heated to gelatinize the raw starch to form the skin and hair cleansing agent of the present invention. The skin and hair cleansing agent of the present invention can be in a form filled in a tube, a bottle or the like according to the purpose of use.

Formulation Example 1 A face wash was prepared according to the formulation shown in Table 3. That is, potato starch and smectite were uniformly dispersed in purified water, heated to 75 ° C. or higher and kept for 1 hour to gelatinize the potato starch and swell the smectite. Sorbitol and polyoxyethylene laurate were added thereto, and ethyl carbitol in which parabens were previously dissolved was added thereto, followed by stirring. After cooling, a fragrance was added to obtain a face wash. Such a face wash was excellent in physical properties such as cleaning performance and ease of application on the skin, and also excellent in storage stability.
