SOLUTION: The steel collecting/draining construction member 1 of this device X is formed out of long sheet steel, connected to the terminal end of a seepage water drain pipe line 5, and formed into a pipe line of nearly square section. A wall on the roadway side containing with the draining surface layer 4 of a road pavement body in respective four walls of the surrounding (at installation) is provided with a plurality of water through holes in the lengthwise direction. A cleaning opening part 121 is provided on the upper wall included as a free surface in a part of a road surface 41, and the cleaning opening part 121 is provided with an opening/closing cover 122. A pipe fitting opening part capable of being connected to a drain pipe 6 for communicating to a side groove provided in parallel with it is provided on the wall on the road shoulder side.

Therefore, recently, a drainage pavement (technique) has been proposed in which the surface layer of a road is formed of a material having a high porosity and rainwater or the like is directly immersed in the surface layer so that road surface water is not generated. Various studies have been conducted for practical use.

However, on many urban roads, arterial roads, and highways where the curbs and shoulders are made of concrete structures, the permeated water permeating from the surface layer stagnates in the base roadbed and subgrade, When this accumulated water reaches the surface, not only the function of the drainage pavement body is lost, but also the durability of the road itself is impaired due to a decrease in the support capacity of the basement roadbed and subgrade. Had occurred.

Under these circumstances, a drainable pavement material is laid to a predetermined thickness on a base layer of a road to form a drainable surface layer, and a spiral shaped permeated water drainage pipe is formed along a longitudinal edge of the surface layer. By burying and further connecting the seepage water drainage pipe to drainage means including a catchment basin (or drainage basin),
There is one that quickly and surely drains permeated water that has permeated the surface from the road surface. For example, JP-A-8

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS In the apparatus of the present invention according to a preferred embodiment, in the above-mentioned steel water collecting structure member, it is preferable that an opening / closing lid of a cleaning opening is an openable / closable sliding door. Further, an optical reflector may be provided on an upper wall surface included as a free surface on a part of the road surface, and a road surface display function for clearly indicating a boundary between a road or the like and a road shoulder at night may be added. Furthermore, while providing a plurality of substantially water-permeable holes in the upper wall surface, in order to adjust the strength and the opening ratio, the opening width or the major or minor diameter of the water-permeable holes in the transverse direction of the arrangement from the roadway side to the shoulder. It may be formed by gradually widening or expanding the diameter.
