Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple structure with high rigidity regarding a connection part between a side member and a cross member in a ladder type frame of a vehicle. SOLUTION: Side member 22 disposed on both sides of a vehicle are extended in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a cross member 30 is disposed between the side members 22 and connected. The cross member 30 has a pipe- like body 40 and is welded to the internal wall surface of the side member 22 by a brace 50. The brace 50 is of shape similar to the half-cut shape of a horn. A first flange part 52 with a large diameter on the opening end side is expanded large in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A bracket 60 is welded to the tip of the pipe-like body 40, and its flange part 62 is connected to the side member 22.
