2. Description of the Related Art In the field of neurosurgery, various craniotomy and craniotomy operations are performed. In craniotomy surgery, the scalp is first opened to expose the skull. Next, several circular holes are formed in the skull using a special drill according to the size and site of the craniotomy. Next, the head is opened by cutting with a line saw between the holes, and the bone flap is removed. Next, the inner dura is incised from the craniotomy, and various operations are performed on brain tissue and the like. After the operation on the brain tissue or the like is completed, a craniotomy operation for closing the craniotomy by returning the bone flap to the craniotomy is performed.

[0003] However, vascular disorders (such as arterial cancer) and
For skull base tumors and the like, it is necessary to perform a craniotomy operation from the supraorbital line of the skull to the zygomatic and sphenoid parts. And
The part between the upper margin of the orbit and the zygomatic bone and the sphenoid bone has a complicated bone shape,
In addition, since many nerves and blood vessels pass through these parts, a cleaved head must be formed with only a plurality of circular holes without using a wire saw, and the bone flap retains its shape. Often, it often shatters. Therefore, at the time of craniotomy, repair has conventionally been performed using resin or autogenous bone fragments that have been scraped off at the time of craniotomy.

However, when a resin is used, there is a problem such as infection because the resin is a completely foreign substance to a living body. In addition, autogenous bone fragments could not be repaired sufficiently, and appearance problems occurred after surgery. Furthermore, the existing bone substitute does not compensate for the inside shape of the skull, and cannot reconstruct the shape between the upper orbit of the inside of the skull and the zygomatic and sphenoid bones. There was a problem that the burden on the patient increased. The present invention has been devised in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to perform a craniotomy operation of a craniotomy formed over an upper orbital edge of a skull and a portion between a cheekbone and a sphenoid bone. To provide a bone replacement material that can easily reconstruct the shape between the upper margin of the orbit inside the skull and the zygomatic bone and the sphenoid bone without causing problems such as infection and postoperative appearance problems. is there.
