Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily charge electric power, by providing a connector in a pallet on which cars of elevator type multi-story parking equipment are loaded, to charge electric power for the parking cars from a charging device for electric cars, attached to the multi-story parking equipment. SOLUTION: A car is driven in a pallet 13 and conveyed to containing chambers of respective floors of an elevator type multi-story parking tower and the pallet 13 is transferred in the containing direction (arrow mark direction) and put on a pallet receiver 12 to contain the car. A connector 15 is provided in the pallet 13 and also a car side connector 17 is provided through an electric feeder cable 16 from the connector 15. An electric charging device for electric cars is installed in the multi-story parking tower and a feeder side connector 14 is installed at every containing chamber. A car is driven in a pallet 13 and after the connector 17 has been connected to the car, the pallet 13 is put on the pallet receiver 12. Then, the connectors 14, 15 are automatically connected. In this way, the car is electrically charged during parking and hence, the traveling distance of the electric car can be extended.
