Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the bending rigidity of a bent section, reducing the distortion of the bent section against a load from a guiding device so as to improve comfortable riding by providing a reinforcement in the bent section of a rib groove shape steel elevator guide rail composed by bending a steel plate. SOLUTION: A reinforcement 11 is provided in the bent section 10 of a guide rail 4 so as to increase the bending rigidity of the bent section 10 of the same, and distortion caused by a load from a car guiding device is reduced. Accordingly, when the car guiding device passes on the guiding surfaces 4a and 4b of the guide rail 4, no distortion occurs even if the guiding surface 4a receives a large load by supporting the deviation load of a car 1. By providing the reinforcement 11 on the full length of the guide rail 4, distortion by the car guiding device is reduced for the entire guide rail 4. But even by providing one, two or some reinforcements 11 only in a joint portion, a level difference produced in the joint portion is reduced and thus comfortable riding is improved.

When the car 1 travels in the vertical direction, the car 1 travels while being restrained in the width direction and the depth direction by the car guide device 8, but the seam portions of the guide surfaces 4a and 4b of the guide rail 4 are smoothly connected. If there is a level difference, the car guide device 8 will vibrate when passing through the joint between the guide surfaces 4a and 4b, and the ride quality will be degraded.

In particular, the guide surface 4a receives a load of 100 kgf or more to support an eccentric load caused by the main rope 2 being connected to a position different from the center of gravity of the car 1, and the joint of the guide surface 4a is a car guide device. At the time of 8 passes, a step of about 1 mm is generated, and the ride quality is extremely deteriorated.

According to the present invention, reinforcement (gusset) 11 is provided at a bent portion 10 of an elevator guide rail having a U-shaped cross section (rib-shaped steel shape) formed by bending a steel plate.
To increase the bending rigidity of the bent portion and reduce the bending of the bent portion against the load from the guide device. As a result, it is possible to reduce the step at the joint portion of the guide rail when passing through the car guide device, and to reduce vibration when the car guide device passes through the joint portion of the guide rail, thereby improving ride comfort.

If the reinforcement 11 is provided over the entire length of the guide rail 4, the deflection caused by the car guide device 8 can be reduced over the entire guide rail 4. However, only one, two or several reinforcements 11 are provided only at the joints. In addition, it is possible to reduce the level difference generated at the seam portion by inserting the joint, and it is possible to effectively improve the riding comfort.

As an embodiment of the reinforcement 11, a triangular steel plate is welded to the bent portion of the guide rail 4 as in the reinforcement 11a (FIG. 2), or a press is used as in the reinforcement 11b (FIG. 3). It is also possible to use a triangular reinforcement with ribs formed on a thin steel plate. Further, at the time of press molding of the guide rail, a rib may be directly formed on the bent portion to form reinforcement.
