2. Description of the Related Art Coating devices for applying paints, adhesives, and the like are:
This is a device that performs a coating operation by supplying a coating material to a discharge tank such as a spray gun using a pressurized tank or a pump that feeds the coating material. Then, at the end of the coating operation or at the time of replacing the coating material such as color change, the coating device including the coating hose and the discharge head must be cleaned. In this cleaning, when cleaning is performed by flowing a cleaning liquid through the flow path of the coating material, simply flowing the cleaning liquid does not easily wash the highly viscous coating material adhered to the flow path wall, and requires a large amount of cleaning liquid. There is a problem.

A large number of pressurized tanks for supplying a coating material such as a paint to a discharge head such as a spray gun by pressurizing the tank according to the internal volume of the tank are standardly prepared. This pressurized tank has an air pressure regulator for adjusting pressurized air on the lid, a suction pipe that feeds the coating material under pressure, and a vent that removes pressurized air from the tank when the lid of the pressurized tank is removed. A valve, a safety valve, an open / close cock and the like are attached. It is common practice to put a cleaning thinner or the like into this pressurized tank and use it as a cleaning tank. However, as described in the conventional example, when the cleaning tank discharges only the cleaning liquid to clean the coating device, the flow path of the coating material is not easily cleaned, and a large amount of cleaning liquid is required. Pressure tank is required. If this is used as air flush cleaning, the capacity of the pressurized tank can be reduced, and the cleaning time can be greatly reduced.

In the case of performing air flush cleaning,
If the flow path to be cleaned of a coating device or the like is cleaned while the flow path is filled with the coating material, the cleaning effect of the air flash cleaning is reduced, and the coating material remaining in the flow path is wasted. Before washing the flow channel, it is desirable to discharge the coating material remaining in the flow channel and then perform air flush cleaning. And the coating material filling the channel to be cleaned is
Since there is a surface that requires time for complete discharge, the coating material is extruded in advance with high-pressure air that does not contain a cleaning liquid, and the flow path to be cleaned is made only of the material adhering to the inner wall such as a hose, and then the air is discharged. Perform flash cleaning. The switching is
The cleaning operation can be further enhanced by switching the main pressure air connected to the three-way cock and the gas-liquid mixed flow.

In the sectional view of FIG.
In the discharge joint 7 disposed at the discharge port, a tapered sheet 7b is air-tightly joined to a joint 7c with a cap nut 7d. The small hole orifice 7a is fitted in the flow path of the tapered sheet 7b. The small hole orifice 7a limits the flow rate of the cleaning liquid and does not limit the present invention, but several orifice diameters of 1 to 3 mm are prepared and can be appropriately selected. This is 1 per minute
The washing liquid of 100 to 200 ml is appropriately mixed with the compressed air, and the mixing ratio of the washing liquid and the air at which the washing effect is the highest, corresponding to the viscosity and the like of the coating material adhering to the passage to be washed. The orifice diameter is selected and set. This is because it is difficult to adjust to obtain the mixing ratio that minimizes the cleaning liquid by adjusting with a valve, etc., the handling becomes complicated, and using a valve with a scale or the like increases the cost. The hole orifice ensures that an appropriate value with the highest cleaning effect can be obtained at low cost.
