Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ground-improving material that can stabilize the ground to be subjected to the construction of a house or building, largely increase operability and is useful for weak ground by using a powdery soil solidifier and an ant repellent as essential ingredients. SOLUTION: This ground improving agent contains (A) 21 powdery soil solidifier such as a cement solidifier or a lime solidifier and (B) an ant repellent as an organic chlorine, preferably in an amount of 0.001-3 wt.%, dispersed in a liquid that does not contribute to the setting reaction of the component A. In a preferred embodiment, this improving agent preferably contains (G) a fibrillated resin of polytetrafluoroethylene. This ground-improving agent preferably contains a liquid or half-solid substance such as hydrocarbon that does not contribute to the setting reaction of the component A.

2. Description of the Related Art Replacement methods, stabilization methods, sandwich methods, and the like are known as methods for improving ground such as soft ground, but the stabilization method is more widely used due to problems such as construction period, economy, and residual soil treatment. Have been. The stable processing method is cement,
This is a construction method in which a solidifying material such as lime is sprayed on the soil to be treated, and the soil to be treated and the solidifying material are sufficiently mixed with a stabilizer or the like. In recent years, such a stabilization method has been applied to the ground used for building houses. On the other hand, in the construction of houses, it is customary to add termite-controlling agents to the underfloor or base of the house. However, the ground stabilization process and the house termite control process are separate and independent means having completely different treatment times and the like, and no attempt has been made to relate the two.

[0007] The soil improvement material of the present invention is prepared by previously mixing a powdery soil hardening material represented by a cement hardening material and an termiticide. It is desirable to mix the termiticide as uniformly as possible without promoting the hardening reaction of the solidified material. When the termiticide is in powder form, it may be mixed with the powdered solidifying material as it is, but in other cases or when there is difficulty in dispersibility, use a liquid or solid carrier that does not contribute to the curing reaction of the solidified material. It is preferable to be held and dispersed. Examples of liquid carriers include various hydrocarbons and alcohol compounds, examples of semi-solid carriers include grease and paraffin, and examples of solid carriers include adsorptive powders such as zeolite and silica. There is. Further, after being dispersed in a liquid carrier, it can be adsorbed and carried on a solid carrier.

The termiticide is usually added in an amount of 0.0
01 to 3% by weight. When a solution or dispersion liquid is used in advance as the termiticide to be used, the optimum amount to be added is determined by converting the amount of the active ingredient. In addition, even if the termiticide as an emulsion using water, when the amount of water is relatively small, it can be dispersed without substantially solidifying the solidified material, and the appropriate inertness as described above. It is also possible to avoid the contact between the moisture contained therein and the solidified material by coating or adsorption treatment with a carrier. The ground improving material of the present invention preferably contains a fibril resin or a liquid or semi-solid substance that does not contribute to the curing reaction, in addition to the above essential components. As the fibril resin, fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene is particularly preferable. For example, a small amount (usually 0.01 to 1% by weight) of a polytetrafluoroethylene powder or an aqueous suspension is added to cement powder, and the mixture is mixed by applying a shearing force under heating to obtain a fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene. A dispersed cement mixture is obtained. In addition, hydrocarbon oils such as light oil and heavy oil, alcohol compounds such as ethylene glycol and glycerin, and grease,
It is also preferable to mix a liquid or semi-solid substance such as lard, paraffin, or gelatin with the solidifying material. The amount is usually 0.1 to 20% by weight based on the solidified material.

[0009] As described above, these also have a function as a carrier of the termiticide. By using these together, the scattering of the powdered solidified material is remarkably suppressed, not only improving the operability such as workability and safety during ground treatment, but also effectively dispersing and holding the termiticide to maximize its characteristics To be able to demonstrate.

Parts by weight, 0.1 parts by weight of an aqueous suspension of polytetrafluoroethylene (30%) at the time of mixing, and a dispersion of fibrillar polytetrafluoroethylene and 1 part by weight of glycerin at the time of mixing Each of them was prepared. When these were used for soil stabilization treatment, in addition to the original soil stabilizing effect of the solidified material, the same amount of termiticide was sprayed at the time of building the house to show the same termite-controlling effect, and there was no scattering of the solidified material. (The latter two are more pronounced),
Operability has been greatly improved compared to conventional stable processing.
