Abstract

組み込む。 本発明は以上のような構造で、これを使用する時は、ビ
ルや擁壁等の構造物の円状曲壁面又は大径のタンク、サ
イロ、樹木等の円柱状表面に本体(1)を水平に保持
し、左右の突起(2)を押し当てる。次に滑尺(4)を
スライドさせて先端部を押し当てる。この時、左右の突
起は本体(1)の中心軸から等距離に固定されており、
また、等長で有る為、滑尺(4)の先端は必ず左右の突
起(2)の先端を結ぶ円周(弧)の中間点(頂点)に当
たり、しかも円の中心に向くわけである。左右の突起
(2)の先端を結ぶ直線(弦)に対して弧の頂点の離距
離(M)は滑尺(4)の目盛(5)を読み込むことで得
られ、弦長と離距離の比率により、簡単な一般式を用い
て二次的に円弧の曲率(直径)が算出される。具体例と
して左右の突起(2)の間隔を仮に40cmとすれば、
曲げ半径(R)の値は R=20,000/M+M/2
となり、離距離(M)のみを用いて直径(半径)は決
定されるわけである。左右の突起(2)に応じた早見表
(6)を予め用意して本体(1)に貼り付けておくか、
印刷しておけば、直径(半径)は目盛(5)の数値と早
見表(6)を対比する事で、たちまち求める事が出来、
一段と実用性は増す。

る。
