Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil fence, which is extended on a water surface for the purpose to prevent the diffusion of spillage oil, which can prevent spillage oil from leaking even in rather storming waters. SOLUTION: An oil fence is provided with a plural of floats 1 to 3 and skirts 4 to 6 suspended from each of these floats 1 to 3. Also the adjacent floats among the floats 1 to 3 are interconnected to each other through sheet- shaped members 7 and 8 in horizontal direction. By this, spillage oil is prevented effectively from leaking from the upper side or lower side by the floats 1 to 3 or skirts 4 to 6 which are installed in multiple stage construction. In addition, the sheet-shaped members 7 and 8 are formed integrally with the bag body 10 of the floats so as to manufacture them rather easily.

2. Description of the Related Art In the event of an oil spill accident, a log-shaped vessel is used to prevent the spread of oil spill by restricting the water area affected by oil spills, or to collect spilled oil by towing a ship for recovery. Oil fences with a skirt hanging down from the float in the water are widely used. This type of oil fence is designed to prevent oil spills drifting near the water surface with both a skirt hanging underwater and a float projecting above the water surface. The spilled oil does not leak out.

However, in a relatively rough water area, the waves easily cross the float and the spilled oil leaks out. In addition, although a weight is provided at the lower end of the skirt, the skirt is pushed up by a violent water flow, and runs under the skirt to leak out oil, which is almost useless. Furthermore, even in relatively calm waters, when towing by boat, even relatively small waves may get over the float or sink into the water, achieving the intended purpose sufficiently. It was impossible.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve such a problem and prevent leakage of spilled oil even in a relatively rough water area, in the present invention, a float and a droop from the float are provided. An oil fence having a skirt, the float and the skirt each having a plurality,
The adjacent floats are connected to each other via a horizontal sheet-like member. As a result, the spilled oil trying to get over from above is blocked by the multi-stage floats, and the spill oil trying to escape from below is prevented by the multi-stage skirts. Oil leakage can be effectively prevented.

A plurality of holes 12 are formed in the connection sheets 7 and 8 at predetermined intervals. This hole 12 prevents oil spilled on the connecting sheets 7.8 from flowing down and accumulating on the connecting sheets 7.8, as will be described in detail later, and is arranged on the front side with respect to waves. Connection sheet 7
Are provided so that the opening area is larger than that of the rear connection sheet 8.

As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting sheets 7 and 8
It can be formed integrally with the bag body 10 from a sheet material such as a canvas. Here, both ends of one sheet material are joined by sewing or the like, and portions corresponding to the connection sheets 7 and 8 are overlapped and adhered to each other by sewing or the like. The insertion is completed when the body 11 is inserted. The connecting sheets 7 and 8 are connected to the bag 10
Alternatively, another sheet material may be joined to the bag body 10 by sewing or the like. The connecting sheets 7 and 8 do not need to be stretched over the entire length of the floats 1 to 3.

When the oil fence constructed as described above is extended in a relatively rough water area, as shown in FIG. 3, the spilled oil rides on a wave traveling from the left to the right in the figure and the spilled oil floats on the front side. In this case, most of the spilled oil gets on the connecting sheet 7 between the front and middle floats 1 and 2 so as to be blocked by the intermediate float 2, and then the hole 1
2 and accumulates near the water surface between the front and middle skirts 4 and 5. On the other hand, even if a part of the spilled oil gets over the intermediate float 2, it is blocked by the rear float 3, stays on the connecting sheet 8 between the intermediate and rear floats 2 and 3, and flows down from the hole 12. It accumulates near the water surface between the skirts 5 and 6 on the middle and rear sides. For this reason,
Spilled oil cannot easily get over the boom.

On the other hand, when the skirts 4 to 6 are pushed up by the water flow and the spilled oil passes through the front skirt 4, most of the spilled oil is blocked by the intermediate skirt 5, and both the front and intermediate skirts 4. Stay between five. Even if some of the oil spills through the middle skirt 5, it is blocked by the rear skirt 6 and stays between the middle and rear skirts 5, 6 so that the oil easily spills down the boom. I can't get through.

When the oil fence is towed by a ship to collect the spilled oil, the front float 1 may sink into the water as shown in FIG. The floats 2 and 3 are in a floating state, and the oil spill near the water surface passes through the hole 12 of the connecting sheet 7 between the front and intermediate floats 1 and 2 and is blocked by the intermediate skirt 5 to prevent the oil from flowing out. Stay between skirts 4 and 5. Therefore, the spilled oil does not easily leak.

The floats 1 to 3 have bent portions at predetermined intervals in the axial direction so that they can follow the fluctuation of the water surface when they are spread in the water area and can be folded when not in use. It is good to provide a plurality. For example, if the foam 11 having a predetermined length is arranged in the bag body 10 at a predetermined interval, it can be bent at a portion where the foam 11 does not enter. In this case, as shown in FIG. 5, if the bent portion is formed to be relatively long, the entire oil fence on the water surface can be easily bent. At this time, it is convenient that the connection sheets 7 and 8 are stretched only at the portion where the foam 11 is provided, since the bending of the floats 1 to 3 is not hindered.

If the connecting sheets 7 and 8 are formed to be long and the floats 1 to 3 are spaced from each other at a large interval, it is effective in preventing oil spillage, and it is effective in accordance with the wave height of the water area to be applied. It is advisable to select appropriate dimensions.

As described above, according to the present invention, the spilled oil is effectively prevented from leaking from above or from below by the multi-stage floats and skirts. Leakage of spilled oil can be prevented. The sheet-like member connecting the plurality of floats to each other can be relatively easily manufactured by a sheet material integrated with the bag body of the float or by sewing another sheet material.
