Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a floating substance collection device for collecting floating substances such as oil and dust, and more particularly to a floating substance collection device that is very suitable for collecting oil and the like by towing with a tugboat or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Oil fences are widely used to prevent and collect the oil that has flowed out onto the surface of the sea and other water surfaces. FIG. 8 shows an example of the configuration of a conventional oil fence. The oil fence 1 includes a
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the oil fence is towed to collect oil or when the relative speed difference between the oil fence and seawater is large, such as in a sea area where the tidal current is high, the oil accumulated on the front side of the oil fence leaks as shown in FIGS. It becomes easy to do.
[0004]
That is, when oil is stopped by an oil fence under conditions of high towing speed and tidal current speed, the shear force generated at the boundary between water and oil becomes large, and oil droplets leak from the head wave as shown in FIG. Or, as shown in FIG. 10, oil droplets leak out due to a horizontal vortex in front of the fence.
[0005]
In addition, when the wave height of a wave with a short cycle on the sea increases, oil jumps over the oil fence (splash over), or oil droplets are generated and leaked in the sea in front of the fence.
[0006]
It is an object of the present invention to provide a floating substance collection apparatus that can quickly collect floating substances such as oil staying on the front side of an oil fence and can significantly reduce leakage of oil and the like.
[0007]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a floating substance collection device that can be towed at high speed and can significantly reduce the time for collecting oil and the like.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The floating suspended matter collection device of the present invention is provided with a fence that is towed or moored at a plurality of places different in the longitudinal direction, and a portion between the towed or moored places is arranged in a shape protruding to the downstream side of the water flow, A float collector disposed in an inner region of the protruding portion of the fence, the float collector being open to the lower side and the downstream side, the float collector A downward flow is generated in the floating material collector by the water flow flowing below, and a forward flow from the tail of the fence toward the floating material collector is generated .
[0009]
In such a floating substance collection device, for example, the fence extends so as to bulge to the downstream side by being towed by a towed ship. When water flows below the collector disposed inside the bulging area, a downward flow is generated in the collector, and in the fence inner area, a flow from the tail end side of the fence to the fence is generated. For this reason, floating substances such as oil collected by the fence are collected in the collector without staying near the tail end of the fence.
[0010]
By arranging a collecting device such as a gap or a pump in the collector, oil or the like can be collected and sent out.
[0011]
As this collector, a collector having a U-shaped horizontal section or a shape similar to the U-shaped cross section and a float for imparting buoyancy to the main body is suitable.
[0012]
As this fence, an oil fence is suitable. In addition, as a fence, you may consist of a hard body formed in the shape which protruded in the back flow side.

[0021]
When a conventional oil fence is towed, all of the oil and the like is collected at the tail end of the oil fence, so that the oil layer thickness at the tail end of the oil fence increases, and the oil and the like easily leak from the tail of the oil fence. On the other hand, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, oil or the like flows U-turn from the very front side of the tail end of the oil fence and flows toward the
[0022]
In a normal oil fence, oil begins to leak when the towing relative speed reaches 0.75 knots, but in the present invention, almost no oil leakage was observed even at a towing relative speed of 5 knots.
