Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cosmetic, safe when applied to the skin, excellent in appearance and good in stability and color developing properties by blending a cholesteric liquid crystal with a specific polymer. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by combining a cholesteric liquid crystal with an acetylate/a 10-30C acetylate cross polymer.
