Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject dye mixture capable of greatly improving both sublimation fastness and wet fastness of a cloth dyed therewith, while maintaining pH dependency and levelling during dyeing by mixing a disperse dye of a specific structure with a dye of a specific structure. SOLUTION: This dye mixture consists of 15-80wt.% orange color-based disperse dye of formula I and 85-20wt.% another orange color-based disperse dye of formula II. As for preferable compounding ratio of both the dyes, the quantity of the disperse dye of formula II is 0.25-4wt. times (pref. 1-3 wt. times) that of the disperse dye of formula I. The disperse dye of formula I is obtained, e.g. by subjecting p-nitroaniline to diazotization, then, coupling with N-ethyl-N- cyanoethyleniline. The disperse dye of formula II is obtained, e.g. by subjecting p-nitroaniline to diazotization, then, coupling with N-cyanoethyl-N- benzoyloxyethylaniline. To use the dye mixture, it is preferably prepared by mixing with an anionic dispersing agent and subjecting the resulting dye cake to dispersion treatment.

The present inventors have conducted intensive studies in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and as a result, when the disperse dye represented by the structural formula (A) is mixed with a dye having a specific structure, the disperse dye is used alone. The present inventors have found that the sublimation fastness and the wet fastness of the dyed fabric can be significantly improved while maintaining the pH dependency and leveling property at the time of dyeing as compared with the case of the above, and reached the present invention. That is, the gist of the present invention is to provide an orange disperse dye 15 represented by the structural formula (A) shown above.
To 80% by weight and 85 to 20% by weight of the orange disperse dye represented by the structural formula (B).

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
The disperse dye represented by the structural formula (A) [hereinafter referred to as a disperse dye (A)] and the disperse dye represented by a structural formula (B) [hereinafter referred to as a disperse dye (B)] used in the present invention. According to JP-B-43-4212, CIDisp
Known as erse Orange 25 and CI Disperse Orange 73. In the present invention, the disperse dye (A) and the disperse dye (B) are used as a mixture. The proportion of each disperse dye in the mixture is 15 to 80% by weight of the disperse dye (A). Dye (B) is 85 to 20% by weight. As a desirable mixing ratio of both disperse dyes, the disperse dye (B) is 0.25 to 4 times by weight, preferably 1 to 3 times by weight based on the disperse dye (A).

[0006] When the amount of the disperse dye (B) is too large, the leveling property is lowered, and when it is too small, the effect of improving the fastness to wetness and sublimation is insufficient, which is not preferable. The disperse dye mixture of the present invention can contain other dyes as long as the performance is not impaired. The mixing ratio of the other dyes to be mixed is equal to or less than the weight of the mixture of the disperse dye (A) and the disperse dye (B).
