Description of the Related Art A circulating bath is provided with a circulating path for taking out water in a bathtub with a circulating pump, filtering, heating and refluxing the bath, removing the foreign matter and germs in the bath water, and keeping the bath water at around 40 ° C. It is maintained at a temperature and can be used for bathing at any time, and since it can be used without replacing water for a long time, it has rapidly spread in recent years. Conventionally known disinfection of circulating bath water is performed by the ozone purification method, ultraviolet irradiation method, etc., but these methods do not provide a sufficient bactericidal effect, and general bacteria grow to increase sanitation. A problem has arisen, especially the presence of Legionella spp.
Preventive measures against Legionella infection are urgently needed. As a method for purifying bath water using an active halogenating agent, Japanese Patent Publication No. 62-3803 discloses an effervescent fast-dissolving tablet containing an alkali metal dichloroisocyanurate as an active ingredient. The method involves administration of an active halogenated drug, which is not only troublesome to handle, but also has a disadvantage that the concentration of the active halogen is increased after the addition, resulting in an unpleasant odor.

Sterilization must be performed. The present invention relates to a method for purifying circulating bath water, and is intended to efficiently and safely supply an agent that releases active chlorine or active bromine to bath water.

The water in the bathtub 1 is taken out by the circulation pump 2, filtered through the filter 3, and the filtrate is heated by the heater 4 and heated in the circulation bath 5 provided with a circulation path 5 for reflux.
Bath water is diverted between the circulation pump 2 and the filter 3 in the circulation path, and a control valve 7 is provided in a water pipe 6 leading to the chemical dissolver 8 to control the amount of water distribution, and the bath water containing the eluted halogenated drug is provided. Is combined with the heated bath water and refluxed to the bathtub 1. The control valve 7 is preferably of the electromagnetic opening and closing type.
When this is used, the operation time is determined in advance in accordance with the condition of bath water contamination, and water can be automatically passed to the chemical dissolver 8 by a timer set, so that the bath water can be accurately detected. Active halogen concentration can be controlled.

This will be specifically described. Example 1 In the circulation type bath apparatus shown in FIG. 1, 2 kg of princess sand and 7 kg of granular zeolite were charged into a filter 3 and a heater 3 equipped with a heater which was turned on and off at a temperature of 40 to 42 ° C. Is disposed, and the diameter of the drug dissolver 8 is 30 mm.
Cylindrical tablets 12 of 20 g of trichloroisocyanuric acid (active chlorine content: 90%, tableting pressure: 1200 kg / cm 2 ) are arranged in a multi-stage manner, and 200 L of hot water at about 40 ° C. is put into bathtub 1 and circulated. The pump 2 was operated to circulate bath water in the circulation path 5 at a rate of 900 L / hr. Five people take a bath in the bathtub within 5 hours every day. Immediately after the bathing is completed, the electromagnetic open / close control valve 7 is opened for 5 minutes, and 1 L of water is passed through the water separation pipe 6 to the chemical dissolver 8 to dissolve the bath. The water containing trichloroisocyanuric acid thus obtained was combined with the heated circulating water and refluxed to the bathtub. Thereafter, the control valve 7 is closed for 30 minutes, and then opened again for 5 minutes. During this time, 1 L of water is passed through the water separation pipe 6 to the drug dissolver 8, and the water containing the dissolved trichloroisocyanuric acid is returned to the bathtub. Was. Such an operation was repeated for three days, and the active chlorine concentration of the water in the bathtub during that period was measured by the DPD method (colorimetric method). The results are as shown in Table 1.

By these tests, a predetermined amount of active chlorine required for bath water disinfection can be uniformly supplied into the bathtub within a very short time after the end of bathing, and the active chlorine agent gradually dissolves at that time. As a result, no abnormal increase in the active chlorine concentration was observed, and it was found that the administration of the drug could be handled extremely safely.

The test was repeated in exactly the same manner except that 0 g of 1-bromo-3-chloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin [active halogen content (in terms of chlorine) 62%, tableting pressure 1000 kg / cm 2 ) was used. The active halogen concentration of water in the bathtub during that time was measured by the DPD method (colorimetric method), and the results are as shown in Table 2.

The weight loss of the bromo-3-chloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin tablet was measured to be 1.9 g, similar to the case of the trichloroisocyanuric acid tablet. It was recognized that the required predetermined amount of active chlorine could be uniformly supplied into the bath, and the administration of the drug could be handled extremely safely.
