In order to paint a building material according to the present invention, the surface of the building material is subjected to a treatment, if necessary, to form a surface to be coated suitable for painting. In particular, in the present invention, since a paint having a small concealment ratio is used, it greatly affects the appearance of a building material in which the color tone, gloss, and texture of the coated surface can be obtained. That is, a new color tone is formed by combining the color tone of the surface to be coated with the color tone of the coating film to be formed. In addition, due to the gloss of the surface to be coated, a color tone or a pattern that changes depending on the direction of light or the viewing direction is formed, and the texture of the coating surface and the texture of the coating film are combined to form the texture of the building material. For example, the surface to be coated with a metallic coating having a metallic luster, or the surface to be coated with a metal such as aluminum or stainless steel, by coating, by the combination of the gloss and texture of the surface to be coated and the coating film, A building material with an unprecedented texture can be obtained. Therefore, the building material of the present invention is different from a normal painted building material in that the surface to be coated constitutes the appearance of the building material.

As a coating method, various known coating methods can be used. In the present invention, spray coating is preferable because a coating film is formed in a spot-like manner. At the time of spray coating, the viscosity was measured using Ford Cup No. It is preferable that the flow-down time in Method 4 is 18 seconds or less. If the flow time exceeds 18 seconds, the droplets of the coating material become less compatible with each other, and uneven coating becomes more conspicuous. Ford Cup No. The four methods are measured by the method described in JIS K5400. The viscosity of the paint is
The viscosity is adjusted to a predetermined value by using an organic solvent such as xylene, toluene, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, or isopropyl alcohol or water as a diluent. The thixo coefficient was 5 rpm / 5 as measured by a B-type rotational viscometer.

It refers to the ratio of the viscosities measured as 0 rpm (measured value at 5 rpm / measured value at 50 rpm). ) Is preferably 1 or more and 2 or less. If the ratio is less than 1, the paint will flow, and if it is greater than 2, the droplets will be too large and coating unevenness will easily occur. Furthermore, atomization air pressure of spray gun 0.5kgf

When two or more types of paints are used, these paints can be applied simultaneously, or they can be applied after a while. By coating two or more paints simultaneously or with the next paint before the previously applied paint is completely solidified, the previous paint and the next paint are mixed, and the A coating having a color tone different from the color tone can be formed. As a result, the versatility on the surface to be coated is further improved. In addition, when the coating material previously applied is completely solidified to form a coating film, and then the next coating material is applied, the coating film has a new color tone and pattern due to the overlapping of the coating film and the coating film. A part is formed.

Intermediate coating, that is, a coating film of a white enamel fluororesin paint (Luffton fusso white, manufactured by Suzuka Fine Co., Ltd.). The paints A and B for pattern application for each of Examples and Comparative Examples were two kinds of colored paints (for paint A, Ruffton fusso gray manufactured by Suzuka Fine Co., Ltd., and for paint B, Roughton fusso manufactured by Suzuka Fine Co., Ltd.). Black paint) was used to adjust the hiding ratio by adding a clear paint (Luffton fusso clear manufactured by Suzuka Fine Co., Ltd.). The viscosities of these paints were adjusted by adding Luffon fusso thinner manufactured by Suzuka Fine Co., Ltd. The viscosities shown in Table 2 are for Ford Cup No. The flow time (seconds) in Method 4 and the thixotropic coefficient are the ratio of the viscosities measured with a B-type rotational viscometer at 5 rpm and 50 rpm (measured value at 5 rpm / measured value at 50 rpm). Paint A and Paint B were applied simultaneously (the same applies to viscosity and thixotropy shown in Table 4). The object to be coated was an ALC panel, and the coating machine used was Volumer manufactured by Asahi Sunac Corporation.

As shown in Table 2, in each of the examples, a uniform spot-like pattern having a variety of colors and a colorful appearance was obtained. That is, the outlines of the gray and black spot-like coatings on the white coating surface become unclear, and the coating unevenness becomes inconspicuous, and the coating surface and the lower coating film are transparent with two types of coatings. The film was formed in a spot-like manner, giving a colorful spot-like pattern. In particular, in this embodiment, since the paints A and B are simultaneously coated, the two paints are mixed on the surface to be coated, and a new color tone (gray and black) different from the color tone of each paint is applied. Mixed color) was formed. These coatings (gray, mixed color, black) and the color tone (white) of the surface to be coated were combined to provide a more colorful appearance. On the other hand, in the comparative example, the outline of each coating film was conspicuous and monotonous, and coating unevenness was conspicuous. From these results, under such spray coating conditions, the opacity of the coating film was 0.7 or less and the coating viscosity was Ford Cup No. Flow time in 4 methods is 8-18
Obviously, it needs to be seconds.

As shown in Table 4, in Examples 6 to 13,
In each case, as in the case of Examples 1 to 5, a variety of uniform spot-like patterns with a variety of feelings were obtained. On the other hand, in Comparative Example 3, since the atomizing air pressure was 0.6 (kgf / cm 2 ), the speckled coating film formed by painting was too fine and a good speckled pattern was not formed. . Also in Comparative Example 4, similarly, since the pattern pressure was as high as 0.6 (kgf / cm 2 ), no good spot-like pattern was formed. Further, in Comparative Example 5,
Since the discharge rate of the coating material B was set to 350 ml / min, the coating material flowed on the surface to be coated, so that a uniform spotted pattern could not be formed. From these results, the condition of the spray coating machine was
0.1 ~0.5 (kgf / cm 2) , patterns pressure 0.3 ~0.5 (kgf / cm 2) ,
It is clear that a discharge amount of 100 to 300 (ml / min) is required.
