Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfect safety system against collision by combining a steering system with an igniting device such as an air bag, and moving a lock pin with the expanding force of the gas at the time of collision, and moving a steering forward. SOLUTION: When a sensor senses an accident at the time of collision, an igniting device 1 is operated, and the gas is expanded in an expansion chamber 2, and when a piston 3 is moved, the piston 3 pushes down a lock pin so as to separate a moving part 5 and a fixed part 6, and a steering shaft 7 is moved forward with the moving part 5 by the inertia force. At the time of collision, since a space between a driver is instantly widened, injury by the steering can be reduced.
