Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.予め設定された全ビットレートを有する伝送チャネルを介して複数のビデオ プログラムを同時に伝送するシステムであって、このシステムは、 (a)前記プログラムに対応するn個の符号化入力信号を復号化するために 並列に設けた同数の復号化手段で構成するとともに各々が直列のデマルチプレク サ処理回路及びデコーダを具える復号化アッセンブリと、前記復号化手段に直列 の同数の符号化手段で構成するとともに各々が直列の可制御ステップサイズの量 子化器及び可変長エンコーダを具える復号化アッセンブリとを有する直列の復号 化アッセンブリ及び符号化アッセンブリと、 (b)前記復号化手段の出力ビットストリームを出力チャネルビットストリ ームに結合する手段と、 (c)前記符号化手段の各出力ビットレートに依存して複数の前記符号化手 段の各ステップサイズを制御する制御手段とを具えるビデオプログラム伝送シス テムにおいて、 前記制御手段を設けて、複数の符号化入力信号の結合計算量に対する各復号 化手段の前記符号化入力信号に関連した計算量の値に依存して前記復号化手段の 出力ビットレートを制御するようにしたことを特徴とするビデオプログラム伝送 システム。 2.MPEG規格に応じて、前記ビデオプログラムの各画像を、フレーム間符号化画 像、予測符号化画像又は双方向予測符号化画像とした請求の範囲1記載のビデオ プログラム伝送システムにおいて、前記ビデオプログラム伝送システムは、対応 するビデオプログラムの計算量に依存して各ビットレート目標値を前記制御手段 の各々に供給する共通ビットレート調整回路を具え、この調整回路は、ビットス トリーム及び前記入力ビットストリームで利用できる量子化パラメータを収集す るとともに前記計算量を決定する算出手段と、これら計算量を加算する和装置と 、各計算量をこれらの和で除算する除算器と、前記算出手段の三つのタイプの画 像の各々に対して算出したチャネルビットレートを、獲得した比に乗算する乗算 器とを具え、その乗算器の各出力を、前記符号化手段の各々 の前記制御手段に送信された目標値としたことを特徴とするビデオプログラム伝 送システム。 3.MPEG規格に応じて、前記ビデオプログラムの各画像を、フレーム間符号化画 像、予測符号化画像又は双方向予測符号化画像とした請求の範囲1記載のビデオ プログラム伝送システムにおいて、前記ビデオプログラム伝送システムは、対応 するビデオプログラムの計算量に依存して各ビットレート目標値を前記制御手段 の各々に供給する共通ビットレート調整回路を具え、この調整回路は、前記デマ ルチプレクサ処理回路及び前記復号化装置の出力部で利用できるビットストリー ム及び量子化パラメータを収集するとともに前記計算量を決定する算出手段と、 これら産出量を加算する和装置と、各計算量をこれらの和で除算する除算器と、 前記演算手段の三つのタイプの画像の各々に対して演算したチャネルビットレー トを、獲得した比に乗算する乗算器とを具え、その乗算器の各出力を、前記符号 化手段の各々の前記制御手段に送信された目標値としたことを特徴とするビデオ プログラム伝送システム。
