Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 一定量のC2−C9ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合剤を繊維内エステル橋かけ 結合の形でその中で反応させて、約25乃至約60の保水値を有する橋かけ結合 繊維を製造する個別化された橋かけ結合セルロース繊維の製造する方法において 、この方法は、0%乃至約70%の範囲内の水分の未橋かけ結合セルロース繊維 を、乾燥繊維ベースで加えられるクエン酸ベースで1乃至15重量%のC2−C9 ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合剤、および乾燥繊維ベースで加えられる0.005乃至1 重量%の界面活性剤と共に加熱して、水分を除去し、ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合 剤をセルロース繊維と反応させ、セルロース分子間にエステル橋かけ結合を形成 して、前記橋かけ結合繊維を形成する事を特徴とする方法。 2. 加熱段階を受ける未橋かけ結合繊維は30%乃至約40%の範囲内の水 分を有し、前記未橋かけ結合セルロース繊維は、乾燥繊維ベースで加えられるク エン酸ベースで3乃至12重量%のC2−C9ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合剤、およ び乾燥繊維ベースで加えられる0.01乃至0.2重量%の界面活性剤を有し、前記C2 −C9ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合剤はクエン酸であり、また前記界面活性剤は非 イオン界面活性剤である事を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 前記非イオン界面活性剤は、酸化プロピレンをプロピレン グリコール と縮合する事によって形成された疎水性塩基をもって酸化エチレンを縮合して形 成された界面活性剤である事を特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。 4. 前記非イオン界面活性剤は、C12−C15脂肪族アルコールと5乃至15 モルの酸化エチレンとの縮合生成物である事を特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法 。 5. 乾燥繊維ベースで加えられるクエン酸ベースで1乃至15重量%のC2 −C9ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合剤と、乾燥繊維ベースで加えられる0.005乃至1 重量%の界面活性剤とを含む0%乃至約70%の範囲内の水分の非橋かけ結 合セルロース繊維が、加熱を受ける未橋かけ結合セルロース繊維上に前記のC2 −C9ポリカルボン酸橋かけ結合剤と界面活性剤との適当量を生じるこれらの試 剤量を含有する水性橋かけ結合組成物と接触させる段階と、次に加熱段階の前に 、この接触段階と離解段階との間に液体除去を実施しまたは実施しないで、混合 物を離解して離解混合物を生じる段階とを含む方法によって形成される事を特徴 とする請求項1に記載の方法。 6. 前記加熱段階は離解混合物を60%乃至100%のコンシステンシーま で乾燥するフラッシュ乾燥を含む事を特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。 7. フラッシュ乾燥は85乃至95%まで実施される事を特徴とする請求項 6に記載の方法。 8. フラッシュ乾燥から得られた生成物を5秒乃至2時間、120℃乃至2 80℃の空気温度で加熱して残留水分を除去し橋かけ結合反応を生じさせる事を 特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 9. 前記接触は、0乃至10%の水分を含有する未橋かけ結合セルロース繊 維シートをプレスロールニップの中に含まれた前記水性橋かけ結合組成物体を通 してまた前記ニップを通して搬送する事によって前記繊維シートを前記水性橋か け結合組成物によって含浸し、ニップの排出側において、30乃至80%コンシ ステンシーを生じる量の前記水性橋かけ結合組成物を含有する含浸された繊維シ ートを形成し、前記含浸された繊維シートを離解して、そのまま加熱処理する事 のできる離解混合物を生成する事を特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。 10. 前記接触は、水性橋かけ結合組成物中の非拘束形状の未橋かけ結合セ ルロース繊維の0.1乃至20%コンシステンシーのスラリを形成してこのスラ リの中に前記セルロース繊維を1乃至240分間浸漬し、次に液体をスラリから 除去してコンシステンシーを30%から100%まで増大させて低液体混合物を 形成し、次にこの低液体混合物を離解して、そのまま加熱処理する事のできる解 離混合物を形成する事を特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。 11. 橋かけ結合繊維の洗浄または漂白洗浄なしで実施される事を特徴とす る請求項1に記載の方法。 12. 0.15g/cc以下の5K密度を有する事を特徴とする請求項11に記 載の方法によって製造された生成物。 13. 0.15g/cc以下の5K密度を有する事を特徴とする請求項1に記載 の方法によって製造された生成物。
