Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feather touch feel, to enhance airtightness and to prevent breath leakage by using a bladder as a coating material and interposing skin between the inside surface of the coating material and the surface of felt, thereby well fitting a padded key to the opening end edge of a tonehole. SOLUTION: A core material 13 is formed of the felt 11 and backing paper 12. The core material 13 is covered with the coating magnetic 14 formed to a bag shape. The skin 21 is interposed between the surface of the felt 11 facing the tonehole and the inside surface of the coating material 14. The skin is otherwise fixed to the felt 11 and the coating material 14 by an adhesive. In such a case, the bladder is used as the blank of the coating material 14. An adhesive having high adhesive power to the skin 21 is preferably used as the adhesive. The skin 21 has adequate flexibility together with the coating material 14. The skin 21 is coated with the coating material 14, by which its pores are closed.

2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a woodwind instrument such as an oboe, a clarinet, a saxophone, etc. is opened and closed by a tampo 4 operated by a key mechanism 3 to open a sound hole 2 provided in a peripheral surface of a pipe body 1. By controlling it, a sound of a desired pitch is generated. The sound hole 2 is an opening of a branch pipe 5 projecting from the pipe body 1. The key mechanism 3 is the tube body 1
It is composed of a connecting pipe 7 which is rotatably supported by a pillar 6 which is erected on the outer peripheral surface of the rotating pipe 7 and which is rotated by a key (not shown), and a tampo plate 9 provided on the connecting pipe 7 via an arm 8. The tampo 4 is attached to 9 through a cushioning member 10.

Since the tampo 4 directly seals the sound hole 2, high sound tightness is required because the pitch, volume, timbre, etc. will not change and stable performance sound cannot be obtained unless it is sealed tightly. To be done. Therefore, the tampo 4 is made into a core material 13 by stacking a backing sheet 12 on the back surface of a generally disk-shaped felt 11 that is compression formed, that is, the center of the surface opposite to the sound hole 2, and this core material 13 is formed into a bag shape. What is covered with the covering material 14 formed of a material having airtightness is used (for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 3-2951 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 07-056559). As the material of the covering material 14, usually, skin (leather of sheep and cows), bladder (built-in skin of sheep and goats) and the like are used.

5 and 6 are sectional views showing other conventional examples of tampo. The tampo 4 shown in FIG. 5 is obtained by wrapping the core material 13 with a skin as a material of the covering material 14. In the tampo 4 shown in FIG. 6, the same skin is used as the material of the covering material 14, and the bladder 15 is interposed between the surface of the felt 11 and the inner surface of the covering material 14.

However, each of the above-mentioned conventional tampo for woodwind instruments has merits and demerits, and there is room for improvement. That is, in the tampo 4 shown in FIG. 4, since the bladder is used as the covering material 14, it has a high airtightness, but on the other hand, since it is a thin film, it easily breaks and has a problem of lacking durability. Further, there is a problem that the felt 11 is apt to change with time and durability is poor. In the tampo 4 shown in FIG. 5, the covering material 14
It has more durability than bladder because it uses a skin as the material of the skin, but the skin has numerous pores, which can cause a large leak of breath and cannot seal the sound hole with high airtightness. There was a problem. As a result, a stable performance sound cannot be obtained, and it is difficult to pronounce and the sound rises poorly. Also, the presence of pores reduces the sound resonance. In the tampo 4 shown in FIG. 6, the covering material 1
Using the skin as the material of No. 4, felt 11 and covering material 1
Since the bladder 15 is interposed between the pad 4 and 4, the impact when hitting the opening edge of the sound hole is smaller than that of the tampo shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, and a light touch feeling can be obtained.
Although it has a feature that it is excellent in airtightness and can prevent breath leakage, there is a problem in that the presence of pores in the covering material 14 stops sound reverberation and the sound quality is poor.

In the present invention, the covering material made of a bladder has high airtightness and prevents breathing. Since the skin has flexibility together with the covering material, it fits well with the opening edge of the sound hole and reduces the impact when hitting. Moreover, since the pores of the skin are covered by the bladder, the sound is not adversely affected.

A skin 21 is interposed between the surface facing the sound hole and the inner surface of the covering material 14. Alternatively, it is fixed to the felt 11 and the covering material 14 with an adhesive. A bladder is used as the material of the covering material 14. As the material of the skin 21, leather such as sheep and cow is used. As the adhesive, it is preferable to use one having a strong adhesive force to the skin 21.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing another embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment differs from the above-mentioned embodiments in that the skin 21 is formed into a bag shape and covers not only the front surface of the felt 11 but also the side surface and the back surface outer peripheral portion which is not covered by the mount 12. Have the same configuration.

In the tampo 20 having such a structure, since the bladder is used as the covering material 14, the airtightness is high and breath leakage can be prevented. Further, since the skin 21 has appropriate flexibility together with the covering material 14, when the tampo 20 hits the opening edge of the branch pipe forming the sound hole as compared with the conventional tampo 4 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. Greatly absorbs impact and improves touch feeling. Further, since the skin 21 is covered with the covering material 14 and the pores are closed, the sound quality is improved without adversely affecting the sound reverberation as compared with the conventional tampo shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. be able to.

Further, in the tampo 20 in which the skin 21 is formed in the shape of a bag and covers the outer peripheral portion of the felt 11 which is not covered by the mount 12 on the front surface, the side surface and the back surface, the airtightness of the tampo 20 is further enhanced. Breath leakage can be prevented. In particular, the airtightness directly affects the pitch, volume, and timbre, and is extremely important for obtaining a stable performance sound. Further, the core material 13 is covered with the covering material 14 and the skin 2.
When double-coated with 1, the shape-retaining force with respect to the core material 13 is large, and the felt 11 can be prevented from losing its shape over a long period of time, and the durability of the tampo 20 is improved.
