Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate the impact against a spreader, and to prevent a container from being damaged by a TL pin by arranging a landing block incorporating a twist-lock in a spreader body in a vertically slidable manner, and internally providing a hydraulic damper above the twist-lock. SOLUTION: A landing block 6 is restorable downwardly not only by the self-weight, but also by the depressing force of a spring member 7. When a spreader 1 is landed, a twist-lock 2 is elevated through the landing block 6. The impact to a spreader body 3 is mitigated by a hydraulic damper 8 located thereabove. When landing is performed with the twist-lock 2 being shifted from the position of a corner pieces of a container, the twist-lock 2 itself is elevated to press up the hydraulic damper 8. Because the twist-lock 2 is pulled into the spreader body 3, a ceiling of the container is not damaged by the twist-lock 2.
