Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the indication of time from being superimposed on the part especially desired to be monitored in an image to be recorded by detecting an image change position inside the image pickup range of an image pickup means and changing the position of recording information indication to be displayed on a screen. SOLUTION: When the monitored image is changed (such as when an object moves into the image pickup range of a camera, for example), a frame switcher 3 supplies position information (c) of that object to a time lapse VTR 4 together with a video signal (b). When picture position information is not inputted from the frame switcher 3, the time lapse VTR 4 displays recorded information such as real time at the ordinary display position (the upper left part of the screen) but when the picture position information is inputted, the recording information such as the real time is displayed at the position most away from the input position information (the position of the object). Since the recording information display position is changed corresponding to the change position of the video signal, the recording information display on the screen does not disturb the monitor.

In such a system, the time display may be superimposed on the portion of the image to be recorded on the monitor screen, which is to be recorded, to obstruct the monitoring.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to solve such a problem.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided image pickup means, screen change position detection means for detecting a screen change position within an image pickup range of the image pickup means, and the screen change position detection means. And a recording information display position changing means for changing the position of the recording information display displayed on the screen in response to the screen position information.

Further, the invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that the screen change position detecting means is provided in the frame switcher.

An image pickup means, a screen change position detection means for detecting a screen change position within an image pickup range of the image pickup means, and screen position information received from the screen change position detection means and displayed on a screen. A recording information display position changing device, comprising: recording information display position changing means for changing the position of the recording information display. 2. The recording information display position changing device according to claim 1, wherein the screen change position detecting means is provided in the frame switcher. 3. The recording information display position changing device according to claim 1, wherein the recording information display position changing means is provided in the time-lapse VTR.
