This metal siding material is manufactured by pinching a metal strip 9 from an uncoiler 8 as shown in FIG.
While pulling out with a roll 10 and bending both sides in the width direction upward with a roll molding machine 11 along the longitudinal direction, a female fitting portion 3 is formed on one of the bent portions and a male fitting portion 4 is formed on the other. By doing so, after forming the gutter-shaped surface material 5 with side walls 2 and 2a on both sides of the flat part 1, the surface material 5 is heated by the preheating device 12 to inject the foaming resin into the gutter. Device 1
It is supplied uniformly from 3. Here, the reason that the surface material 5 is heated by the preheating device 12 before the supply of the foamable resin is to shorten the foaming time of the resin and to improve the adhesion with the surface material 5.

Immediately insert the backing material 7 into the trough from the reel 15 arranged above by pressing the upper and lower surfaces in the heating furnace 16 with the double conveyor 18 arranged in two stages in the vertical direction with the pulley 17. The foamable resin was foamed. Here, the reason why the upper and lower surfaces are pressure-bonded by the double conveyor 18 is to prevent the backing material 7 from being pushed up. Therefore, as the conveyor, one having a flat surface such as a rubber belt conveyor or a slat conveyor is used. I was using it. After the resin is foamed, the traveling cutting machine 19 cuts it into a predetermined length to obtain a product.

By the way, the siding material has conventionally been embossed on the surface material 5 in order to improve the design. The embossing is performed between the pinch roll 10 and the roll forming machine 11. Place the molding device 20,
Before being formed into a gutter shape, it was embossed in a flat plate state. The conventional embossed pattern has a small pattern with a small depth such as a stucco pattern, but in recent years, the demand for large patterns with a large pattern and a large depth has increased. As shown in FIG. 9, called as "German upholstery", a conventional flat portion 1 having a saw-toothed concave-convex pattern formed in the longitudinal direction is required.

Since the outer surface of the conveyor has a shape that conforms to the uneven pattern of the surface material, it is pressed down to the concave portions of the uneven pattern formed on the surface material, and the uneven pattern of the surface material causes the foaming pressure of the foaming resin to rise. Prevents deformation. In addition, if the protrusions are provided with notches at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor, when the conveyor is bent at the pulley, the notches open and no tension is applied to the protrusions. The breakage of the convex portion is prevented. Furthermore, when the conveyor presses the surface material, the convexes before and after the cut are in contact, so even if the surface material is a coated metal plate, uneven coating, unevenness, marks, etc. due to the cut may occur. Does not occur. The outer side surface of the conveyor is the side surface opposite to the drive roller of the conveyor.

In order to provide the concavo-convex pattern on the outer surface of the conveyor, a method of integrally forming concavities and convexities on the outer surface of the conveyor and a method of fixing a concavo-convex object on the outer surface of the smooth conveyor are conceivable. The former method is a conveyor for each handle-
The latter method is preferable because it must be prepared and prepared, and the manufacturing apparatus must be stopped and the belt replaced each time the handle to be manufactured is changed. That is, if the concavo-convex shaped object can be fixedly attached and detached by the latter method, only the concavo-convex shaped object needs to be replaced.

In order to make a notch extending in the width direction of the conveyor by the latter method, (A) the concave-convex shaped article is composed of a plurality of divided bodies, and the divided bodies are arranged in the direction of rotation of the conveyor. It may be performed by a method of fixing while contacting in a row, or a method of making the uneven shape object into a band shape and making a cut only in the convex portion. When the cut is made by the method (A), the divided body is fixed to the conveyor by the conveyor.
It is desirable to have only a portion of the direction of rotation so that when the conveyor is bent at the pulley, other portions are separated from the conveyor and the splits bend less. Only a part of the divided body may be fixed with a screw or an adhesive that is easily peeled off, but when using an adhesive, it is about 1/5 of the length. Further, it is desirable that the length of the divided body in the direction of rotation of the conveyor is not more than the radius of curvature at which the concave portion is bent at the pulley so that a portion apart from the conveyor does not hinder the rotation of the conveyor. Further, it is preferable that the conveyor is a rubber belt conveyor whose fixing position can be changed according to the length of the divided body.

The material of the uneven shape has a foaming pressure of 0.7 kgf / cm 2 when the foaming resin foams because the temperature in the heating furnace accommodating the double conveyor becomes 70 to 90 ° C.
However, the material that does not plastically deform at this temperature or pressure, such as heat-resistant hard rubber, heat-resistant synthetic resin, or metal, is used.

As shown in FIG. 2, the lower conveyor 25 has a rectangular hard rubber block 26 whose surface has a three-step saw-toothed concave-convex pattern and whose rear surface is flat. 28 is fixed to the outer surface of the rubber belt 29 so as to be continuous with each other, and the length of the hard rubber block 26 (longitudinal direction of the rubber belt 29) is set to be equal to or less than the radius of curvature bent at the pulley 17. To secure the hard rubber block 26, a two-step hole 30 is formed at the end of the lower conveyor 25 on the rotating direction side, and a screw 31 is inserted from the rubber belt 29 side so that the hard rubber blocks 26 contact each other. I've been there. Therefore, the notch 32 exists at the boundary of the hard rubber block 26.

In this manufacturing apparatus, since the surface material 5 and the lower conveyor 25 have the same concavo-convex pattern, when the foaming resin is foamed while being pressed by the double conveyor 18, the lower conveyor 25 is hard. The convex portion 27 of the rubber block 26 also presses the concave portion 22 of the surface material 5 as shown in FIG. Therefore, the unevenness pattern of the surface material 5 is prevented from being deformed by the foaming pressure of the foamable resin.
