される駆動源2及び該駆動源2からの回転を往復運動に
変換する動力変換機構3と、前記駆動源2の前方に長手
方向一側縁に亘って多数の固定刃4が列設される固定板
5及び前記固定刃4と同方向の一側縁に多数の可動刃6
を列設し、前記固定板5に対して往復運動可能なごとく
取着される可動板7と、前記固定刃4と可動刃6とが前
記動力変換機構3にて変換された往復運動により、互い
に摺動自在に圧接しうる一対の刈込刃8が形成され、前
記本体ケース1から可動板7を保持すべく前方へ延設さ
れる軸柄10の適当部位に、中間グリップ9を配設した
ものにおいて、前記中間グリップ9内にて、前記軸柄1
0を前部分割体11と後部分割体12とに分割形成し、
前部分割体11は前記刈込刃8側に、そして後部分割体
12は本体ケース1側にそれぞれ連結させ、これら前部
分割体11及び後部分割体12の対向端部16,17に
は、それらの一方の16(17)に係止爪18が、ま
た、他方の対向端部17(16)には、該17(16)
から一様な若干の厚さをもった膨出部20を突設させる
と共に該膨出部20の周端縁部に所定ピッチ毎に前記係
止爪18が臨みうる適数個の凹部19を設け、前記係止
爪18にばね力13を付勢させて、常時、膨出部20の
周端縁部を係止爪18が摺接つつ、適宜前記凹部19に
弾圧的に接圧係合させるようになし、後部分割体12と
前部分割体11との軸柄軸線の周りの捻転に際しては、
後部分割体12の前部分割体11に対する捻転によっ
て、前記係止爪18が前記膨出部20の周端縁を摺接し
た後、所定捻転位置の膨出部20の凹部19に係入し.
回動方向の拘束状態が維持できるように係止して所定の
捻転位置を保つと共に、前部分割体11と後部分割体1
2との相互所定捻転位置の解除に際しては、後部分割体
12と前部分割体11を係止爪18が凹部19から離脱
しうるようにばね力13に抗して強く回動させることに
よって捻転前の元位置に復帰しうるように構成したこと
を特徴とする刈込機。
