Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce with a small installation and simply a film for printing in a method for preparing the film for printing. SOLUTION: An adhering face 17 of a ribbon 7 for peeling a coating with an adhesive face 17 exhibiting sticking properties by heating is brought into contact with the coating face 14a of a transfer foil film 8 wherein a thermoplastic coating layer 14 is formed on one face of a transparent film main body 9. The heat applying part 3 of a heat printer head 2 is brought into contact with another face 18 of the ribbon 7 for peeling the coating. The heat applying part 3 of the heat printer head 2 is controlled by an electron control means to generate heat and the thermoplastic coating layer 14 is transferred only at the sites heated by means of the heat applying part 3 in the adhesive face 17 of the ribbon 7 for peeling the coating to form transparent parts 10 where the thermoplastic coating layer 14 is peeled on the transfer foil film 8.

As described above, according to this printing film manufacturing method, the transfer foil film 8 is added to the printing film manufacturing apparatus.
A printing film can be automatically produced by simply setting and operating the printing film manufacturing apparatus. Further, since it is not necessary to use chemicals such as photoengraving, there is no risk of pollution, and steps such as photographic imaging and development can be omitted. Furthermore, the reproduction of characters and figures is superior to that using a silver salt film of photoengraving, and fine lines such as small letters can be reproduced with high accuracy. Further, the thermal printer can be used as it is, only by mounting the paint stripping ribbon 7 (ribbon cassette 4) on the thermal printer.

2. A paint surface 14a of a transfer foil film 8 having a thermoplastic paint layer 14 formed on one surface of a transparent film body 9.
The adhesive surface 21 of the paint stripping ribbon 7 having an adhesive surface 21 that exhibits adhesiveness by heating, and heat is applied to the other surface 18 of the paint stripping ribbon 7 by the thermal printer head 2. The thermal printer head 2 is moved relative to the transfer foil film 8 by bringing the parts 3 into contact with each other, and the heat applying part 3 of the thermal printer head 2 is controlled by the electronic control means 5 to generate heat. Adhesive surface 21 of the paint stripping ribbon 7
Among these, the thermoplastic paint layer 14 of the transfer foil film 8 is transferred only to a portion heated by the heat applying portion 3 of the thermal printer head 2, and the thermoplastic paint layer 14 is peeled off from the transfer foil film 8. A method for producing a printing film, which comprises forming the transparent portion 10 described above.
