Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect the overlapping of burst signals by inserting respective pieces of information of starting/ending to the respective bytes of the starting/ending of the burst signal with fixed length so as to transmit it. SOLUTION: In a transmitting part 10, starting information and ending information having a prescribed pattern as against the transmission burst signal with fixed length L in its leading byte and ending byte are respectively inserted by a starting/ending byte inserting part 11 and transmitted. In a receiving part 20, a starting/ending byte extracting part 21 respectively extracts the starting byte and the ending byte. The position of the starting byte is judged by the arrival of the burst signal, the position of the ending byte is predicted by the starting byte since the length L of the burst signal is fixed and the ending byte is extracted at the predicted position. In a judging part 22, the respective patterns of the starting byte and the ending byte are compared with the respective patterns which are previously stored in a starting/ending byte pattern storage part 23 so as to judge normality/abnormality.

In such a PDS transmission system, as shown in FIG.
As shown in (a), data transmission is performed by transmitting a burst signal of a fixed length L. A byte A indicating the beginning is added to the beginning of each of these burst signals, and the data to be transmitted is superimposed on a plurality of bytes following the beginning.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The operation of the present invention will be described. The head and end information indicating the head and the end are respectively added in advance to each position of the head and the end of the burst signal and transmitted.
On the receiving side, when both the beginning and end information is detected,
It is regarded as normal reception, and when only one of the leading and ending information is detected, it is determined that the burst signals are overlapped.

In the transmission burst signal having a fixed length L, the start information and the end information B having a predetermined pattern are inserted into the start byte and the end byte by the start / end byte insertion unit 11, respectively. And sends it (see FIG. 2 (a)).

In this case, the patterns A and B of the leading byte and the ending byte are predetermined, and it is natural that a pattern that does not occur in the byte pattern of the data portion is used. Since the data part is scrambled in advance, for example, "0000111"
Since special data patterns such as "1" and "1110000" cannot occur, these special patterns are referred to as A,
B can be adopted.

In the receiving section 20, the head / end byte extracting section 21 extracts the head byte A and the end byte B, respectively. The position of the head byte A can be determined by the arrival of the burst signal, and the position of the end byte B can be predicted from the head byte because the length L of the burst signal is constant. Therefore, the end byte B is extracted at the predicted position.

The judging unit 22 compares the respective patterns of the leading byte and the ending byte thus extracted with the respective patterns A and B stored in advance in the leading / ending byte pattern storage unit 23, thereby making a normal / normal state. Abnormality is judged.
