2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a plurality of packages stacked on each pallet may be transferred to another pallet in units of the number of stages. For example, in a canned beverage production plant, cardboard boxes containing canned beverages are stacked in pallets according to the type of beverage, and a desired number of tiers are taken out from these pallets, and various pallets are prepared for each shipping destination. As a load handling device that takes out each of such steps, the applicant of the present invention runs a carriage between the stepping part and the upper part of the stacking part, and reciprocates between the layers of the articles stacked on the stepping part. It has been proposed that a table be inserted to pick up a package (for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 7-14266). In the carriage, a plurality of carriage rollers are provided between the carriage side frames, and the leading one or two carriage rollers are rotationally driven in the scooping direction. A chute is provided at the rear end of the carriage. In the step-down section, the uppermost and second-stage loads to be scooped by the step-down section are clamped between the opposing stoppers so that the load does not collapse when the carriage enters and exits. In addition, between the layers of the upper and lower parcels, several places are temporarily fixed with a hot-melt type adhesive so that the cargo does not collapse while being conveyed by the pallet.

However, if the layers of the baggage are temporarily fixed with the adhesive in this way, the adhesive for the temporary fixing is used as the carriage roller of the carriage when the carriage enters between the layers. Or may adhere to the surface of the chute. When the adhesive is attached, not only a step is formed between the portion where the adhesive is attached and the portion where the adhesive is not attached, but also the frictional force becomes uneven on the carriage roller and the chute, which impairs the straightness of the load. The smooth cargo handling by the carriage is hindered. Therefore, it is often necessary to clean or replace the carriage roller or chute, which requires maintenance.

According to the load handling apparatus having this structure, the loads stacked on the lifting platform device at the loading / unloading unit are lifted by the carriage to a height at which the loads on the uppermost layer can be picked up. The carriage travels to the step-down section, and the traveling operation and the rotation of the drive carriage roller scoop the uppermost load onto the carriage roller. The carriage that picks up the luggage runs in the opposite direction and unloads at the stacking section. While the carriage is located in the stacking unit, the elevator unit lifts the cargo by one stage and waits in the stacking unit. In the process of repeating such operations, when the layers of the luggage are temporarily fixed with the hot-melt adhesive, the carriage peels off the adhesive as the scooping is done, and the adhesive remaining on the lower surface of the luggage is replaced by the carriage roller. Will be rubbed. However, since each carriage roller is provided with a resin coating, the hot-melt type adhesive is unlikely to adhere due to the property of the resin, and the amount of adhesive adhered is small even after repeated use. Therefore, the trouble of cleaning or replacing the carriage roller can be saved. It has been confirmed by experiments that, in the cargo handling apparatus having the above-mentioned configuration, the resin coating as described above prevents the adhesion of the adhesive.

In the carriage having the above structure, a chute may be provided between the pair of bogie side frames on the rear end side of the carriage roller array, and a fluororesin coating layer may be provided on the surface of the chute. Further, the resin coating of the carriage roller may be a stretchable resin tube.
The chute facilitates loading and unloading of luggage, but the provision of a fluororesin coating layer facilitates slipping and further facilitates loading and unloading of luggage. In addition, the fluororesin coating layer makes it difficult for the adhesive remaining on the lower surface of the luggage to adhere. When the resin coating of the carriage roller is a stretchable resin tube,
The resin coating can be formed on the roller surface by a simple process of covering with a resin tube and shrinking, and the manufacturing cost becomes low.

In the clamped state as described above, the carriage 5 waiting on the stacking section 2 side travels to the stacking section 1 side while rotating the leading drive carriage roller 10A upward. When the drive carriage roller 10A hits the side surface of the uppermost load W, the frictional force due to the rotation of the drive W causes the load W to move.
Are picked up and placed on the carriage 5 as the carriage 5 travels (FIG. 6 (C)). Since the uppermost luggage W is sandwiched by the aligning device 11 during scooping, the luggage W is not pushed by the carriage 5 and escapes, or the packing appearance does not collapse. At the time of scooping up, the adhesive that adheres the layers of the luggage W is peeled off and rubbed against each carriage roller 10 and each part of the carriage 5, but the carriage roller 10 and the chute 30
Is covered with a resin coating 10b or a coating layer of a fluororesin, the adhesive property prevents the adhesive from adhering to the carriage roller 10 or the like due to the property of the resin. Therefore, the frequency of cleaning or replacement of the carriage roller 10, chute 30, etc. can be reduced.

Further, when the luggage W is picked up by the carriage 5, the second-stage luggage W, which is the lower layer of the scooping layer, is sandwiched by the clamp device 12, so that the load does not collapse. Further, it is prevented that the position and the posture of the second-stage luggage W are disturbed and the entrance of the carriage 5 is hindered, and the scooping is performed smoothly. Since the pusher-side stopper 16 of the clamp device 12 is divided into a plurality of parts, the stopper 16 shown in FIG.
Even when there is a gap d between the loads W in some rows as shown in FIG. 7A, as shown in FIG.
The loads W are clamped for each row at 6a to 16c, and are clamped without a gap. Therefore, a reliable clamp can be performed,
The carriage 5 can smoothly pick up the luggage W. Further, not only when there is a gap between the loads W, but also when the lengths of the rows of the loads W are different, by pushing the loads W for each row by the split stoppers 16a to 16c, A reliable clamp can be performed.

After the luggage W has been scooped up by the carriage 5, the upper stopper 13 of the aligning device 11 at the time of scooping retracts and the shutter 14 retracts to the upper position as shown in FIG. 7 (A). The carriage 5 opens and runs backward to the stacking unit 2 side. Further, the lower stopper 15 and the pusher-side stopper 16 of the clamp device 12 are retracted to release the clamp and prepare for the next lifting of the load W. When the carriage 5 travels to a predetermined position on the stacking unit 2, the dismounting and aligning device 1 is stopped after traveling.
The luggage W on the carriage 5 is sandwiched by the shutter 18 and the stopper 17 of 9 (FIG. 7B). In this state, the carriage 5 passes under the shutter 18 and travels toward the step-down unit 1, so that the cargo W on the carriage 5 is stopped by the stopper 17 and is discharged onto the pallet P2. While the carriage 5 is located in the stacking section 2, the lifting platform device 7 is raised by one stage of the load W at the stacking section 1, and the scooping aligning device 11 and the clamping device 12 are operated in the same manner as described above. Stand by with the luggage W in between. Therefore, when the carriage 5 travels to the step-down unit 1 side for the purpose of clearing the luggage W, by continuing the traveling as it is, the next-stage package W of the step-down unit 1 is loaded.
Are picked up by the carriage 5 (Fig. 7 (C)).
