Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently incinerate waste liquid including coarse particles at the low consumption of fuel by jetting coarse particles together with compressed air toward the bottom plate of a horizontally rotating cylinder, heating and drying them by the flame of a burner, and atomizing and spraying filtrate with the fuel and compressed air and burning it. SOLUTION: Waste liquid including coarse particles is separated to filtrate and the coarse particles by a separator 2 and they are respectively stored in tanks 3 and 4. Then, the coarse particles are fed to a coarse particle injection pipe 10 and jetted to the bottom plate 8 of a horizontally rotating cylinder 9 under the supply of compressed air 21. Then, the coarse particles are heated and dried by the flame of a combustion burner 11, then, changed to the shape of a lump and it is peeled off from the bottom plate 8. Then, it is burnt in the rotating cylinder part and ash is exhausted from an ash exhaust pipe 13. On the other hand, the filtrate of the tank 3 is atomized and sprayed from a filtrate atomizing nozzle 15 attached to the center of a filtrate spraying cylinder 14 together with fuel and combustion air supplied from a fuel spray nozzle 16 and a combustion air supply pipe 17, and instantaneously dried by high temperature gas produced under the combustion of heavy oil.

[0002] In recent years, the awareness of global environmental protection is increasing, and the regulations regarding the disposal of industrial wastes are becoming stricter even in Japan. In connection with this, the disposal cost of waste disposal companies is also soaring, and the waste disposal cost in the product manufacturing cost cannot be ignored. Therefore, the self-treatment of industrial waste is increasing in many industrial fields. For example, incinerators and organic fertilizer conversion equipment have begun to be used for activated sludge, but have not yet spread rapidly. A large amount of shochu waste liquid, human waste, and other waste liquid containing only a small amount of solids are still being dumped in the ocean. However, since these ocean dumping will be prohibited altogether, these waste liquids will be efficiently and fuel-efficient. Development of an incinerator that can incinerate is expected.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventional fixed bed incinerators, rotary kilns (rotary kilns), etc. are incinerators for solids, so it is difficult to treat wastewater with a high water content alone, and some of them are mixed in solids. There was a method such as letting it be processed. In addition, since the incinerator for dehydrated sludge currently in operation basically has the same mechanism as the incinerator for solids, the water content is around 85%, the evaporation load is high, the calorific value is low, and the combustion is dispersed. It is necessary to set the temperature in the furnace to 800 ° C or higher for completely burning the waste liquid having a difficult property, and as a result, the fuel efficiency becomes extremely low.

Many of the waste liquids having a water content of 85% or more are slurry-like in appearance, but when the slurry is to be sprayed in an incinerator, the orifice of a spray nozzle generally used for spray drying has an extremely small diameter. Therefore, it cannot be used because coarse particles in the waste liquid are clogged. Therefore, a method of injecting together with the pressurized air from a pipe having a large passage diameter has been used, but atomization for efficient and instantaneous drying cannot be expected. Here, the coarse particles refer to granular or long fiber foreign matter having a size that blocks the orifice of the spray nozzle, that is, a diameter of 1 mm or more.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining an example of a specific structure of a dry combustion apparatus of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a detailed view of a filtrate drying cylinder in the dry combustion apparatus shown in FIG. FIG. The dry combustion apparatus of the present invention is roughly classified into a separator 2 for separating waste liquid containing coarse particles into a filtrate and coarse particles, a rotary combustion furnace 5, and a horizontal fixed cylindrical lid plate lower part of the rotary combustion furnace (a circular lid. It is composed of a filtrate drying tube 14 attached to an opening provided so that its center coincides with a point on the vertical diameter of the plate (and a center thereof), and required pipes. The waste liquid is supplied from the tank 1 to the separator 2 by a pump or the like, and the filtrate is supplied to the tank 3.
The coarse particles are separated in the tank 4. Since coarse particles do not have to be highly dehydrated, a compact and efficient rotary screen type separator is preferably used as the separator.
When a rotary screen is used, coarse particles are sent to the coarse particle injection pipe 10 of the rotary combustion furnace 5 with a water content of about 80% by weight. The rotary combustion furnace 5 is provided on a horizontal fixed cylinder 7 having a lid plate 6, a horizontal rotary cylinder 9 having a bottom plate 8 fitted in the horizontal fixed cylinder, and an upper portion of the lid plate (on the vertical diameter of a circular lid plate). Coarse grain injection pipe 10 for injecting particles toward the bottom plate 8 of the rotating cylinder, combustion burner 11 provided near the coarse grain injection pipe for injecting flame toward the bottom plate 8 of the rotating cylinder, exhaust gas provided at the upper part of the fixed cylinder It has a pipe 12 and an ash discharge pipe 13 provided at the bottom of the fixed cylinder. The filtrate drying cylinder 14 is provided on the axis of a horizontal cylinder having a diameter smaller than that of the cover plate 6 of the horizontally fixed cylinder of the rotary combustion furnace, and is provided near the filtrate atomizing nozzle 15 and the filtrate atomizing nozzle that horizontally inject the filtrate. The fuel spray nozzle 16 and an air supply pipe 17 for supplying combustion air to the periphery of the fuel spray nozzle. A pressure atomizing nozzle is preferable as the filtrate atomizing nozzle 15 so that the jetted filtrate is rapidly dried. Further, it is preferable that three or more fuel spray nozzles 16 of the filtrate drying cylinder are provided so as to surround the filtrate atomizing nozzle 15. The required pipes are a pipe 18 for supplying the coarse particles in the tank 4 separated by the separator to the coarse particle injection pipe 10 of the rotary combustion furnace, and a filtrate drying cylinder 14 for the filtrate in the tank 3 separated by the separator. It has a pipe 19 for supplying to the filtrate atomizing nozzle 15.

The coarse particles in the tank 4 are sent to the coarse particle injection pipe 10 by the feeder 20. Compressed air 21 is supplied to the side surface of the coarse-grain injection pipe 10 near the tube end, and mixed with coarse particles to be jetted toward the bottom plate 8 (incinerator wall) from the tip of the injection pipe. It is desirable to process the tip of the injection pipe into, for example, a cross shape so that coarse particles are dispersed in a wide range. Fuel 22 and combustion air 23 are supplied to the combustion burner 11.

In the dry combustion apparatus of the present invention, the flame injected from the combustion burner reverses at the vertical wall surface (bottom plate 8) and fills the rotary combustion furnace to come into contact with the raw material. The length of the furnace can be reduced to a fraction of that of the conventional rotary combustion furnace (rotary kiln) of the counterflow type. For example, the length of the horizontal rotating cylinder of the device required for processing 1000 kg of barley shochu residue liquid per hour may be about 1.2 m, and the diameter may be about 1.6 m.

[Example 1 of use] A waste liquid with a high water content containing coarse particles, which is still mainly dumped in the ocean today, such as distilled residue liquid such as shochu and human waste. The characteristics of shochu-liquor residue liquid differ somewhat depending on the raw materials such as rice, wheat, and potato, and the solid content concentration also differs depending on the manufacturing method of the class A and class B. However, any of them can be separated into coarse particles having a water content of about 80% and a filtrate using a separator having an appropriate opening, such as a rotary screen. For example, when 1000 kg of barley shochu residue liquid having a total solid content of 11.5% by weight and coarse particles of 4.5% by weight is subjected to a rotary screen treatment, 770 kg of a filtrate having a water content of 91% and coarse particles having a water content of 80% are used. It is separated into 230 kg. The coarse particles are injected at high speed into the rotary combustion furnace 5 by the coarse particle injection pipe 10 and are sprayed on the bottom plate 8 (vertical wall surface) of the horizontal rotary cylinder. The coarse particles sprayed on the wall surface are heated by the flame of the combustion burner 11, and when dried, they become lumps and are separated from the bottom plate 8 (vertical wall surface) and burned in the rotating cylindrical portion to become ash and the ash discharge pipe 1
Emitted from 3. The fuel (heavy oil) consumption for burning 230 kg of slurry-like coarse particles in the furnace is around 30 kg, and the combustion temperature in the furnace is 650 ° C. or higher, so almost no odor is generated. On the other hand, the filtrate is the nozzle 15 for atomizing the filtrate.
Atomized and sprayed by the surrounding fuel spray nozzles 16
Since it is instantly dried by the high temperature gas resulting from the combustion of the heavy oil sprayed from, the gas temperature drops sharply to below 300 ° C, and the dry fine powder does not burn in the drying cylinder, but enters the rotary combustion furnace with the gas. Is blown in. The amount of fuel (heavy oil) consumed to dry 770 kg of filtrate is around 65 kg. The dry fine powder blown into the rotary combustion furnace is blown onto the bottom plate of the rotary cylinder by inertia, and is completely burned by the flame of the combustion burner while mixing with the coarse-grained slurry.
When the dry gas rises to the exhaust pipe side, the odor component is decomposed by coming into contact with the flame and high temperature gas of the combustion burner. The dry gas is mixed with the combustion gas of the rotary combustion furnace in the exhaust pipe section and is exhausted from the exhaust pipe 12 at around 550 ° C.

[Usage Example 2] In order to reduce the burden on ordinary activated sludge paid to waste disposal companies, a coagulant is added and dewatering is performed with a decanter or roller filter. Although the cost varies depending on the region, the cost of collecting activated sludge is considered to be 15,000 to 20,000 yen per ton. Further, the cost of the flocculant needs to be several thousand yen per ton. In the use example in which the activated sludge that is not dehydrated by the apparatus of the present invention is incinerated, since the sludge has a strong water retention property, the rotary screen having the same opening as that of the shochu residue liquid cannot be used. Therefore, the opening of the screen is increased to separate only a small amount of large-sized solid foreign matter, and most of the sludge is passed to the filtrate side. In this case, since the pressure spray nozzle cannot be used, a special swirling nozzle with a large orifice diameter is used, and a method of atomizing by using compressed air together is adopted. The activated sludge, which does not use a coagulant, has a water content of about 95%, which is more like a dry treatment than incineration. Therefore, the size of the incinerator may be smaller than that of the shochu residue liquid, and the combustion burner is set to function as an afterburner for preventing unburned dust from being scattered in the exhaust gas. Fuel (heavy oil) according to usage example
Since the solid content is small and the calorific value in the furnace is reduced, the consumption amount is slightly higher than that of the shochu residual liquid, and the consumption amount of heavy oil is about 100 kg in terms of 1 ton treatment. However, even in this case, the net treatment cost is about 32,200 yen, and even if the facility incineration cost is included, it is possible to perform the treatment sufficiently for 5,000 yen or less.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION The incinerator volume can be reduced to a fraction of that of the conventional one, and moreover, complete combustion is possible even if the exhaust temperature is lowered to 500 ° C. or lower, and as a result, a significant reduction in fuel is possible.
