Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain air bubble-containing Kevlar (R) fiber useful for a cold resistance clothing, a bulletproof jacket, etc., and excellent in tensile strength, abrasion resistance, electrical insulating properties, insulating effects and heat retaining properties by mixing air bubbles in Kevlar and spinning it. SOLUTION: In a production process, for example, before spinning Kevlar into a fiber, Kevlar is mixed with air bubbles and Kevlar mixed with the air bubbles is spun into the fiber. Clothing and bedding made of the air bubble- containing Kevlar fiber can be used for a semipermanent period when once prepared as they do not worn away even by washing many times.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] This has the following disadvantages. (A) Cotton, wool, and even feathers were vulnerable to friction, the terminals were cut off, and dust was generated, which was unsanitary. (B) It was easy to absorb moisture, the bulge of the cotton disappeared, and it was not possible to keep warmth and cleanliness unless it was always dried. The aerated Kevlar fiber was invented to eliminate these drawbacks.

[Action] Since the Kevlar has good tensile strength and has many excellent properties, the aerated Kevlar fiber cotton is friction resistant and does not wear. It is also difficult to absorb moisture. It is strong against heat and has excellent electrical insulation. Clothes made of this bubbled Kevlar fiber act as a cushion, and are strong against impact.

[Embodiment] An embodiment of the present invention will be described below. (A) Mix air bubbles into the Kevlar at the manufacturing stage before making the Kevlar into fibers. (B) An aerated Kevlar fiber is produced with a Kevlar mixed with air bubbles. The present invention is configured as described above, and when using the bubbled Kevlar fiber as cotton, if it is used for bedding, it does not generate cotton dust and does not easily absorb moisture, so it is a clean, warm and hygienic cotton. And the bubbles further enhance the heat insulating effect. It is strong enough to withstand the load of any heavy object, resistant to heat, and has excellent electrical insulation properties. Therefore, it is very effective when used on easily worn items such as electric carpets and electric blankets. In addition, if it is made into a sleeping bag, it has elasticity that does not collapse with weight and has excellent heat insulation effect, so it can be used as cold resistance even in the coldest place. In this bulletproof vest made of bubbled Kevlar fiber, the bubbles act as a cushion, further enhancing the bulletproof effect.

[Advantages of the Invention] (a) Clothing and bedding made of bubbled Kevlar fiber are
It can be used semi-permanently once made, as it does not wear out even if it is washed many times. (B) Since this fiber is strong against friction and does not wear, it is hygienic because it does not produce dust. (C) The bubbles act as cushions to soften the impact. It also has a heat insulating effect. (D) It is strong enough to withstand the load of any heavy object, resistant to heat, and excellent in electrical insulation. (E) Since clothes made of this fiber have buoyancy in water, they also have an accompanying effect such as acting as a life-saving device.
